(Sorry if this subject is already answered. If so please point me to it. To my defence I've tried searching )

I'm a big fan of the Tracker. My time online is limited and to keep ahead of issues and other fun stuff I like to follow the different trackers. It's a great tool and I used it alot.

Now my little problem. My feelings is that the Trackers as they are now is almost unusable. Well. Unusable is probably too strong word. Maybe "A bit user non-friendly".

The old way it used to work was that the article that I read in the tracker got "Marked as Read" by using using bold text when unread and non-bold as read. Just like when you click a link in a webpage and it gets another color. This was different between themes but you get my idea.

This behaviour does not exists anymore when using the tracker. I have no way as I can see to see what articles I've read and not read. If I'm looking at the wrong place please inform me but I still think the "old way" of showing messages as read is the best way.

I would be thrilled to see this behaviour return in the Trackers because it seem to work in the normal forums. A article I've read in the tracker is displayed as read in the forums so the "problem" is the Tracker pages doesn't honor this information.

The old way it used to work that i don't want to see again is that if I read a article and it was in a thread all messages in that thread got marked as read. Very annoying. My prefered method would be to have only the message read marked.

An addition to this was to be able to get this "read-flag" information stored in my account in the database. This would enable me to use different browser(home, at work, on holiday etc) and still be able to know which messages I've read and not read. This would ofcourse generate increased database storege but combined with the "Mark as read after X days" function it could be limited and not always increasing. Please feel free to send this additional request to the proper people.

I hope this annoying issue gets resolved(the "mark as read" issue) soon or atleast "Real Soon Now(tm)".
