i was killed and lost 26 gold. i am level 19 for crying out loud. how can i lose so much money from being ganked? money is very hard to come by at this low level. i am broke now! if this is how pvp servers are intended to operate you can count me out.

You should always bank before going into PvP enabled zones, never ever carry coin on you use you have a big escort or just like giving away coin.

Just use the bank befor you head out. Dont carry xtra stuff in ur bags unless its attuned/legerndary/mastercrafted/fabled and keep all ur money in the bank you'll be fine won't lose anything. If you come across a large amount of coin call back and bank it.

im not even really sure if there is 1. I know ur not supposed to lose it all but the amount that drops I think is just random. Somtimes a small amount drops somtimes half or 3/4ths drops. Both more oftem than not no one has anything on them so u get maby 5 copper which isnt worth crap.

Norrsken

The amount of gold you drop is random, and somewhere in the ballpark of 50 - 75% of what you have on you. Stupid? On the contrary. If YOU killed someone, wouldnt you loot his cash?

Funny post. Did you expect PvP to be like the other carebear servers?

You can't just go afk in the middle of a zone, and certainly can't carry your life earnings around with you.

Sometimes these lessons need to be learnt the hard way. We have pretty much all lost cash after forgetting to bank. These frustrating moments are tough, but necessary. Also, I like that you lose gold and actually think you should lose more. It's like playing poker for real money. Afterall, if there is nothing to lose, these is little to gain.

Alas, if you are feeling like quitting after losing gold once, I don't rate your chances of survival on a PvP server. Best of luck anyway.

I lost 60 gold when I was level 23, and I logged out for like three days! I totally understand how you feel. I bet you learned a lesson though, and 26 gold isnt too bad. There are ways to get money at that level. If you are on Nagafen senmd me a tell on Dankstar, in Qeynos, or Dankshasta in Freeport, maybe i can help you alittle, I got some toons in that lvl range. It gets better man, I promise!

Having the coin drops and item drops makes the game so much more interesting. You never know what you will get on top of the win. If I kill someone and get coin I wont call unless its 50gp or more, this ensures you will see ALOT of PvP very soon and for some time to come untill someone gets ya. Coin comes and goes dont let it bother you too much, have fun keep at it and you will start to enjoy PvP.
