-Loot rules (treasured and below?), what is not lootable, percent of coin lootable? Exp loss or gain?

any player that is in level range or above can drop money (usually like 75% of the coin u have with u), and yes treasured and below items that are not aequipped/attuned or notrade.

-Grouping rules (Can any levels group and if a very high level is grouped with lower level can they assist lower level?)
if a low level is grouped with a high level, neither the low or the high level player will be able to attack low level people.. however, anyone that would be able to attack the high level can attack the grouped low level as well.
-Can ungrouped member of same alignment assist you within only so many levels, or only heal you? Is the mob lock only for pve to discourage kill stealing and no lock for pvp (others can assist if not grouped with you etc)?

mob locks work as in pve, nobody else can attack the mobs. (nobody of both factions).. however, everyone can still attack you if u are engaged with a mob... which will make it quite difficult to kill stuff now and then. At the moment, everyone can heal you out of group... they change this now tho, so only people that are in level-range with you can heal you. those people that are in level range can of course also attack the enemy to assist you, even if ungrouped.

-What level does pvp begin?

10

-How fame works and how to check it? Pvp vendors that sell based on fame status etc?

there are basically 4 rewards for pvp

1.) fame .. u cant really check your fame.. only thing u see is either your title or your pvp stats (like 124 kills 12 deaths).. but as the fame depends on what u kill (the rank of the person u kill has to be +-1 rank above/below you to give fame) u cant really check your fame
2.) faction .. for every kill (even for greys) u get pvp-faction .. u can not loose the faction u gained, unless u exile or betray. As soon as your faction is above a certain amount (u can check that in your persona) u can buy pvp gear.. higher faction better gear 3.) status .. for each kill that is in level range or above u get pvp-faction... its the same status u get for heritage quests etc and counts to guild status too.. u need that status for pvp items as well 4.) tokens .. since eof there is special armor in tier 7 where u need to have a amount of tokens u can trade in to receive very very nice armor pieces... but u need [Removed for Content] loads of it (250 for a chest piece as example). U can always just use the tokens too to get additional Faction (see 2.))
-Pvp zone level restrictions-are they 4, then eight at most at higher level zones?

Level restrictions start in tier 2 (antonica/commonlands), become 8 in t3-zones (thundering steppes, nektulus and dungeons like stormhold and fallen gate), and 10 in all the higher tier zones... in the tier 7 zones however, there is no limit and everyone can kill everyone (a 70 can kill a level 1).. and u even get faction for that, thats why ppl do it. (dont get status, tokens or fame tho)

-Can the opposing team gain faction with opposing city guards so not KOS?

u can only gain faction to 1 city.. so as qeynos city u always are member of those guards, and fp with fp guards.. however as exile u can choose a city where u would like the guards to not attack you (and u can even use the bank and merchants there then)

I tried searching the forums but found no main guide to this 8(

-Loot rules (treasured and below?), what is not lootable, percent of coin lootable? Exp loss or gain?

Generally speaking, Fabled/Legendary/Mastercrafted/No-trade items will not drop in PvP. Treasured/Handcrafted/Uncommon items can drop. The money drop is generally anywhere up to 60% of the money carried by the defeated player. Players up to 8 levels below your level will generally drop a chest upon defeat (there is no cap on highest level), unless they were below 50% health upon engagement (in some cases killing a player that is enaged with mobs will result in no chest drop too.)

-Grouping rules (Can any levels group and if a very high level is grouped with lower level can they assist lower level?)

Players of any level can group together, however the group's pvp limit will be determind by the highest level in the group. For example, if a lvl15 groups with a lvl18 and a lvl20 to run quests in the Commonlands, the group's pvp range is determined by the level 20 player. The pvp range in the Commonlands is +/- 4 levels, so the group will only be able to attack players lvl16 or higher.

Higher levels can assist lower levels they are grouped with. Currently healers are able to heal players without being in the same group (which results in OOG healing of low-level players by high-level healers) however after the next game update players must be grouped together to assist each other.

-Can ungrouped member of same alignment assist you within only so many levels, or only heal you? Is the mob lock only for pve to discourage kill stealing and no lock for pvp (others can assist if not grouped with you etc)?

Currently you cannot truly "assist" other players unless you are grouped with them (the exceptions being healers which as I said will disappear with the next game update.) So an SK can only cast feign death on a player he is grouped with. Players outside your group CAN assist in killing another player attackign you, however this will have an adverse affect on any status/infamy that would be gained as a result of the attacking player's death.

Locking a mob encounter is generally used for PvE to discourage kill-stealing, though it's redundant to do so since first strike generally means xp/loot rights.

-What level does pvp begin?

Level 10

-How fame works and how to check it? Pvp vendors that sell based on fame status etc?

There is no way to truly measure fame, though many think they have found ways to do so. The best way to do so previously was to go to the leaderboards and use the search filters to get your name to appear on a list, then sort by infamy to see where you ranked against other players. Pre-EOF changes, when my Defiler sat at the top of the Dreadnaught list for a few weeks, I knew she was close to Master (so close in fact that she was automatically made a General when the new ranks went in.) But really there's no way to measure it.

As to how it is earned, you earn "infamy" by defeating players that are within one rank of your pvp title. So for example, Slayers can only earn infamy by defeating Hunters, Slayers and Destroyers. Untitled players can only earn infamy from other untitled players and Hunters, and so forth and so on. Additionally, players must "color-con" to you - meaning they must con at least green in order for you to get any infamy from their death. Players that attack players who con red to them are supposed to lose infamy if they die, but it's generally assumed that that is bugged.

As the previous poster mentioned also, you gain faction for each kill (think it's 35 a kill) that you build up within your city (Lucanic Knights if in Freeport, Royal Antonican Guard if in Qeynos) and status points, which can eventually use to purchase PvP gear from special PvP merchants (or other status items like court titles, etc.) When you get to T7, there is an additional set of PvP gear that is obtained via PvP tokens. The tokens will drop at any level and can be used to increase one's PvP faction within their city, but the lvl60 ones are the ones that are used for the T7 PvP gear.

-Pvp zone level restrictions-are they 4, then eight at most at higher level zones?

I believe it's as follows:

+/-4 in Commonlands, Antonica, Greater Faydark, lowbie grinding zones, other T2 areas

+/- 8 in Nektulos Forest, Thundering Steppes, Enchanted Lands, Zek Wastes, other T3 and T4 areas

+/- 10 in Lavastorm, Feerrott, Sinking Sands, Pillars of Flames, other T5 and T6 areas (think includes Tenebrous Tangle also but not positive.)

Unlimited in the KoS expansion area and other T7 zones like Loping Plains, Bonemire, etc.

-Can the opposing team gain faction with opposing city guards so not KOS?

No, because in order to do so you would need to kill guards of your own city and that would make you KOS to them. As an Exile however, you can build your faction up with the city of your choice to not be KOS and even be able to use city merchants, brokers, and the bank.

~thanks

No problem. Good luck.
