WoW's getting old. And Huxley/Tebula Rosa/Spore are all not comin out for a bit. I hear EQ2 is the runner up, so i try it out. Seems pretty awesome. But, when does it get really fun? Im lvl 14 j/w when it starts getting real fun. Like whens the first instance? Ect. Thanks.

I guess I don't know what you mean, 'cause I find the game fun from the get-go. What kind of gameplay are you looking for?

Eh. Idk. When it gets more communitive. Quest and areas look/are more fun. And whens the first instance. I know for WOW it was around 17ish with VC .

I think there is a hidden one in Thundering Steppes, but maybe that was Enchanted Lands. There is always Splitpaw with the instances galore and decent AA.

Do you mean instance (solo or group only, no respawns) or dungeons (contested areas with respawns)? EQ2 has both. Unless I am mistaken there is a low level instance in EoF as well as instances in Nek forest and thudering steppes. Dungeons start out from the teens up.

I'm just going to add that in terms of gameplay, graphics, overall design, quality of players and lack of fanbois, tradeskilling, housing, quest design and longevity, WoW is the runner-up, not the other way around. Welcome to where the big boys play.

What server you are on has alot to do with things. I find on Najena that hitting 20 opens up a bit of a bigger world for grouping and chat. Since the chats are level based here, you won't see what is going on until you hit the appropriate level. The under 20 chats are pretty quiet. I've heard alot of people say the 50+ game is what they try to shoot for when making alts. I guess that is when the divider between "old world" and "new world" happens. There are several low level dungeons that I see people getting groups together for. Crushbone Keep is in Faydwer, Wailing Caves is in Commonlands (Freeport side), and The Caves are popular in the Qeynos area. There's also Blackburrow in Antonica, but I don't see much groupage around that dungeon. Crushbone is a bit higher than the other two areas, but those are good starter dungeon areas.

Also when you hit around 19 you can go to Fallen Gate in the Commonlands. That is blast for 19-27 or so. I hope you find something that makes it fun for you. I found it fun from level 10.
