LOL Also, your best bet is to look for a guild with people that share your play style and preferences, THAT's a great place for BS'ing. Alot of guilds are much to quiet in guild chat most of the time, but all it takes is a few chatterboxes to get everyone to be alot more social. . . or maybe its just that I always drive the quiet ones away with my incessant chatter? hmm.. nahhh..

thanks for the help but I already am in a guild and have my channels opened. I just want to have friends that are going through the same thing I am in terms of coming back to EQ2 and starting over. lol
It might be worth posting this in the Antonia Bayle forum which will probably reach more people on your server.

When I was on AB, the game channels 1-9, and especially 10-19 were positively hopping. Tons of lowbie players looking for groups, or just wanting to spend time digesting pop culture (was that just Vendela :P I actually miss Vendela now I've transfered to Najena. Not sure if I'll miss hearing Bonnie Tyler renditions ..). I was, and am a (fiercely proud) Freeportian, and there were no shortage of lowbie players who were LFG in the Commonlands, wanting to find a Wailing Caves [WC] spot. The popular choices were: BB or WC, followed by FMG. One point: BS'ing on chat channels on a RP server, may not be fitting in with the immersion. Some - not all - RPers may be reluctant to group for that reason alone. If you do wish to group or quest, then you'll probably have more success if you couched your request in distinctly RP terms rather than /ooc. Regards, Riotgirl
