How do I recover old forum links in the new system?

<p>Does anyone know how to find a message by ID in the new forums?</p><p>I have several old links to informative messages that broke when the transition occurred.   They contain the board.id and the message.id, so I can search for a message by ID if I knew how, AND if the message id's didn't get renumbered.   Any ideas?</p><p>Sorry for posting here, but there doesn't seem any good place to post this question.</p><p>Glenolas</p>

Sorry to tell you, but I'm pretty sure that if you didn't backup the information yourself it is gone for good.
