View Full Version : Looking to form a Static Party.

yep. I would like to try to organize a static party. For those who don't know, a static party is a group of people who all play at the same time and adventure together. It's kind of like a guild, but only with 6 members I'd like to start fresh from scratch. Having a well balanced party with one of each main type (healer, mage, tank, rogue) with 2 others (bard + ? perhaps) Why do I want to start a static party? Well, I used to play Everquest 2 and i had a very tightly knit guild on Nagafen however, everyone parted ways and the such and I went on to FFXI and WoW and did all that, but my brother resubscribed to EQ2. I've tried to get back into the game, but i don't have that old family feeling type thing that I had with my old guild. I've tried joining other guilds but most of the time, there rarely anyone on in the lower levels or its just not a family vibe. I'd like to assemble a good group of 6 who are friendly and all share similar goals. The party doesn't have to be hardcore or anything, could be a casual deal, however, if you want it to be hardcore, well, that'd work too. I'm honestly up for any play style, I just want to have a lot of fun playing a game. When I watch my brother play this game, it doesn't seem fun, but I know its only because I miss my old family feeling guild. Now, a lot of you might say "Why not just keep joining guilds?" and so forth. But with this game being over 2 years old now, I find that there are plenty of guilds around but they're either: 1) high end raid guilds 2) A really tight knit guild that isn't looking for new people 3) Guilds that are partially dead with little to no activity 4) Random invite guilds that just want people. Or, you might say "Why not make your own guild" Well, theres already enough guilds and from what I've seen, its too hard just to make one and hope to be successful. So, if anyones interested please post here. I can be reached at [email protected] or via MSN at [email protected] I'd like to be a ventrilo enabled party and i don't care what faction or what server we play on. All that can be worked out. Over half of my MMO entertainment comes from the social aspect and making new friends. If you're like me please post. Thanks, Drew.

A neat idea, although I'm in an established guild and probably wouldn't be able to commit to consistent play times. One thing you left off that should be included, is when are your normal play times? People will need to know that to determine whether or not they'd be a good fit.

Thats a good point! I live in Newfoundland so i'm GMT -3:30. (i'll use EST times so it's easier) I would usually be able to play from 1 PM EST to 2 AM EST on weekdays Weekends I'm good for anything! Thanks again, Drew!
