To expand/clarify this topic, if I am a citizen of Qeynos, can I remain a citizen of Qeynos, but relinquish my apartment and buy on in Kelethin instead, or must I change my citizenship to Kelethin in order to buy an apartment there?

edit: typo

I believe you must be a citizen of Kelethin to buy a house there. Your original question does imply owning 2 houses at the same time which you can't do, no matter your citizenship or lack thereof.

You used to be able to have a house in the opposing city, but that's quite a while ago. I wish they'd let us have more than one house though, I'd like a holiday place in Maj'Dul

That sounds suspicious. Are you trying to keep your girlfriends from finding out about each other?

Oh me too -- I'd even consider moving to MajDul except for the giant negative to me: no crafting of any sort can be done in the whole city. (Wow, their trade deficit must be amazing if they have to import all their finished goods!) Alas, for a winter home in a nice tropical place...

I thought no matter where your house was you could buy a house in Maj Dul. Am I wrong?

I'm curious as to why a player can only own one home in the game at a time. Why the restriction?

The other question is why we cant sell it back? Another would be why dont we have an easier way to relocate our contents? I have to do like 10 runs to move so I wont. /move would be nice. Buy a second house and you get 24 hours to get your belongings out of your original dwelling.

Got to agree with you there. Moving in EQ2 is as big a pain in the NO I ---CAN'T-- CONTROL MY LANGUAGE, AND NEITHER CAN YOU!!--- as moving in real life.

Maybe you should swith to Capital One Rewards =p I think it would be nice to have inns available across the land where you could pop in and rest, really small rooms with no vault slots and a max item count of like 50 for 5s a week. Like in Windstalker or Thundermist.

I have a couple of homes. Freeport and Qeynos, I just made all my characters trustees in all my apartments. That way, I can use the broker boards or mailboxes if I am shopping in the opposing city.
