*** PVP ***

You can no longer charm a mob that is fighting a player if you are not grouped with them. Various crafted poison should now have proper chat window notification when used against players in PvP combat. In level limited zones, players will no longer be able to heal those outside their level range unless they are grouped together. Level ranges for the zone will now also display in chat when you zone and within the map window. The stun effect from Rain Caller has been reduced to 1 second in PvP combat. Zoning is now currently disabled while fighting another player.

Wow, these are some great changes.

Having just returned to the game, and having loved playing on Venekor when I was playing a few months back, I can see that my swashy will soon be smiting Freeps with the same passion he had before, and with a few less hassles.

Cudos SOE, good stuff

I'm a healer, but I'm quite glad they're fixing the out of group out of level range healing. If my Brig cannot out of group and out of level range DPS, why should a healer ever have been able to heal damage? It made no sense, and it's a great fix.

Nerfing the Rain Caller was waaaaaaaay overdue as well, excellent change. Now I just hope the proc rate is fixed too, because as it is, it's still going to be overpowered.

the charming a mob while someone is attacking it loophole is being closed, good.

All in all I think these are all positive changes. But the big one still remains ... please Devs eliminate immunity upon zoning, it's completely breaking the immersion and ruining PvP.

As an example, in SWG there was no immunity while loading. The moment your toon appeared in-world, even if your screen still showed you loading in, you were attackable. So imagine loading in only find yourself in mid-gank, or already dead, thanks to having appeared in-world to others before you appeared in-world on your own screen.

I understand that it might break the immersive experience for some, but I'd rather sacrifice a little immersion than have an opportunity for griefing and ganking put into the game, thus making pvp even more frustrating than it already can be. Trust me - your RP environment can handle waiting 30 seconds for me to become attackable.

This one made me happy:

Zoning is now currently disabled while fighting another player.

There's probably nothing more annoying in PvP than having a victory vanish in

front of your eyes because your prey zoned right before dying.

Another thing that's annoying is high lvl healers babysitting lowbies, that's why

I'm in agreement that the out-of-combat healing elimination is a good thing even

though I have a high level fury.
