All my current chars are Qeynos-based. I'm not very familiar with Freeport. My SO will be betraying once that live update goes through, and he's gonna get a three-roomer for me to decorate always wanted to do stuff with those high ceilings.

anyways, i know stuff can be mailed now between the two places, however, for no-trade items, I'm looking to find out if there is an address that any of you know about that its possible to sneak a Qeynosian to....

for ezample, its next to impossible for a FP'er to sneak into anywhere in QH, but for the houses on Tranquil Way in SQ, its very easy, thanks to the sewar entrance and the lack of guards in the alleyway.

I was told last night that char's of the opposing city can no longer zone into anyone's house (i.e., Freeportian can not zone into Qeynosian house). Whether tis true or not, I do not know. I haven't been able to test it. I'd rather test it for myself before giving misinformation. So my question for you or anyone else, has anyone tested tis recently ? Within the last couple weeks ?
Message Edited by Howlingmoon on 06-03-2006 08:00 PM

I last tried it on a PvE server (Antonia Bayle) on May 19th, and there was no problem at all then.

I've also zoned into a house in Maj'dul owned by a Freeport-aligned character on Nektulos server just today, again, no problems.

However, I understand that it is not possible to set someone of a different alignment to have access to your house *on PvP servers* so perhaps the person you were talking to was from a PvP environment?

I can understand the not being able to give access to different alignment on PvP servers. I will have to ask my friend more questions when I see her.
Message Edited by Howlingmoon on 06-03-2006 08:00 PM

Well I don't know about that because I have my Necro as trustee to my house in SQ- she was able to zone in fine a couple weeks ago . I will test it again this evening. As for sneaking into the opposite alignment NF is not really hard. There are sewers for Freeport just like there is for Qeynos that makes it a little easier and since the guards no longer just exile you it makes it easier.

Message Edited by Adrinanna on 06-03-2006 05:27 PM

I have been able to run my level 28 Qeynocian to my North Freeport House following this route:

Go to The Sprawl from Common Land. You will have to rush through the gate because the guards outside The Sprawl are agro.

Find the entrance to the Serpent's Sewer in The Sprawl. No agro mobs and no guards at this level

As soon as you zone into Serpent's Sewer, turn around and zone into Thief's Way from the ladder behind you.

Once you are in the Thief's way, you can look for the sewer entrance to various Freeport cities. If it is the North Freeport, you zone out to a pretty safe area without guards. But you need to run down one flight of ramps and one flight of stairs where a guard may patrol. But he passes by very infrequently. The best thing to do is to have someoen in Freeport watch the guard for you and tell you when to run.

Run down to the coast where all the housese are!

I've been thinking about getting a FP house for my alt so that I can play around with decorating it too, LOL. Anyone have any recommendations for what is a better area for a 3 room house? I'm not too familiar with where the various amenities are other than EFP and Longshadow Alley lol. Preferably a house with 3 or more vault slots too hehe.

For three-room homes, South Freeport is my favorite town. It is facing the water, with tiers of stairways, and different sizes and shapes of homes. Some of them have rather private doorways, hiddent from the street. Although I have never lived there, I thought I would if I wanted a three-room.

SFP is where my warden lives in a 3 room. I have been able to sneak Qeynosian chars into the house before they made the guard change, it was really quite a pain. But I personally think it's easiest there. The sewer entrance is close by the housing. In NFP, the sewer is a bit further away from the 3 room housing, like Zindi said.
