Thought I would post a few postcards from my humble abode located at 1 Compassion Road in North Freeport. Still very much a work in progress, though I thank Adeste for her work in making many of these fine pieces.

First, my throne room. It is the first room that anyone sees when they first enter. The throne itself is a simple design consisting of an ebony warlock bookcase and two acrylia desks. The purpose of this room is to create a sense of power and intimidation. The floors, walls, and trim are all polished obsidian. I insisted on nothing but the best for this room. From here I command my legions of the living dead to do my bidding...

Message Edited by Tharangus on 05-23-2006 04:02 AM

I may be a powerful necromancer... but that does not mean I do not have dinner guests. Here is my dinning room and kitchen.

Message Edited by Tharangus on 05-23-2006 03:36 AM

Here we have the master bedroom. I did not find any of the 'standard issue' beds to be suitable for my purposes, so I came-up with my own design. The frame itself and the head board are constructed from acrylia. I was fortunate enough to find a large supply of that material on the cheap side before the market for it changed. The fireplace consists of two ebony pieces, four generic sconces for the fire, a Thexian wine rack, and a long ornate shelf for the mantle. Several acrylia pieces were also used at the base of the fireplace, though it took a bit of trickary to get them to work since acrylia benches seem to have a peculiar property to them that prevents items from being placed on top of them.

Oh drats... those candles are not even... I shall have to fix that. *smirks*

Message Edited by Tharangus on 05-23-2006 03:48 AM

Here is my patio... I used fir chairs and ebon spellbinder sconces to construct the fire pit. I find the lighting out here to be most appealing at night.

Some excellent use of Acrylia there. I especially liked your huge master bed constuction with it. Your throne... well, it speaks for itself. It's a nice touch and great use of the bookcase. I must agree, I enjoy the evening light in the patio most of all. Your firepit creation with the sconce and fir stools is very original and turned out exceedingly well. If I had come up with that, I would be very proud of my creativity. Thank you for the tour of your home. Well done.

Message Edited by countjackula on 05-26-2006 06:55 AM

I too have to add my kudos on a job well done! Your bed, firepit and throne really show great creativity! The dining room table however just doesnt seem to fit with the rest! Its not as refined as the other aspects of your house =) Still looks nice, just out of place.

Thank you for all the kind words... it's been a labor of love, I guess you could say. And yes, the dinning room set does feel out of place... that is by design. :smileytongue:

I haven't even posted screenies of the basement laboratory and servant's quarters... those will be coming soon!

Quick question for everyone admiring this house

What is the thing (skull) on top of the fireplace with the knife through it called? And where do I pick one up for a table decoration in my necros 'function room'??

I've started a little bonzi garden on the patio... I will be adding to this later. The ones with the rectangular box are the tranquil and the other is harmonious.

Message Edited by Tharangus on 06-14-2006 09:07 PM
