Has anyone ever created anything that acts as a pen for your pets? I really don't like the idea of having random zombies and animals roaming freely through my house, but I don't want to get rid of them completely.

The only way to get your pets to stay put atm tis to move to Maj'Dul. Maj'Dul housing has a "bug" where pets won't move from where they have been placed.

I dont know if this would work but you could try building a large cage that goes all the way up to the cieling by stacking very short tables or shelves or possibly chairs?

An interesting idea... i may try it.

It won't work, because pets can wander through walls, floors, and ceilings. I have the five-room house in South Qeynos, and put all my pets in the basement to get them out of the way while decorating, and when I came back upstairs, there they were. I even tried putting them in the tiny room.

With so many of us asking for a way to make our pets stay where we put them, why is no one responding and making the "sit" command a permanent command until it is cancelled? How hard could this be? Then if you WANT your pets roaming around, you just don't use that command. I am particularly tired of that carnivorous plant roaming all over the place. How about letting us "root" that baby permanently!?!

I cheated, and used plushies to make my little zoo - but that probably doesn't help much in your case!

Yes, they waltz around on the furniture and thru the walls, and I even caught one of my dogs standing in the fireplace the other day. If the housing in Maj'dul wasn't so UGLY, I'd move there just to keep my pets in line! Probably a topic for another thread, but what a missed opportunity the Maj'dul housing was -- I'm envisioning how beautiful it might have been there with open central courtyards with plush green grass underfoot. Instead we got tiny windowless boxes that look and feel like shower stalls!BTW, Didi, I LOVE your plushies in the cages! I tried to put my scarecrow in a cage, but he was too big so I just have him standing on top of the cage.

Darn, ya you guys are right it doesnt work. I agree they should get a sit command or the programmers should change them so solid obects behave correctly in relationship to them.

Hey Sony how about a Sit and Stay command - so you can still make them sit - but just add a Sit and Stay command. That would be awsome.

Oh wait maybe thats why they put plushies in the game 8 - /

I had about 15 pets in my North Qeynos apartment, and none of them ever disappeared. (I think - the bat and turkey are missing, but the owner may have taken them.)

I couldn't take it anymore. I put the monkey in an alts room that I rarely go to. It's a noisy chattersome beast. The [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] plant got put in my bank (I should have chosen the picture instead). It was always uprooting itself and hissing at me or chasing the cat. All of the Maj Dul court/arena pets are in the bank too. Sadly, I sold my two dogs because they wouldn't stay put and when they weren't busy warping through walls they were in the way of decorating projects,,, constantly. The only thing I've kept is my little tyrant black thexian cat because he is small enough that I can bear having one and when he curls up for a nap on the rug by the fireplace he is quite adorable. For the longest time he would only seem to sleep in my potted palms. Until there is a /sit and stay ~always~ command or nails/glue that sticks pets to the floor I will be content with only 1 pet. Ever notice when you place a new piece of furniture or are decorating, your pets migrate to you with intense curiousity almost instantly? Wierd.
