I made this loft out of my 1 bedroom inn room in Castleview. What was one room now has:

Downstairs: entry, hall and kitchen (tall ceilings) and a bedroom and library (lower ceiling)

Upstairs: Loft Study and Loft Bedroom.

So thats 7 rooms in a 1 room house!

Unfortunatly between the bookcases and tables I didnt have many items left for furniture but I have added more since I took these pics (I thought the pics with less furniture would be more helpfull for others who want building ideas)

I made the second story by buying gnomeish tables (with really short legs) and stacking them untill they were flush with the top of the bookcases and then removeing the ones underneeth. The table legs do stick out underneeth but are not too obstructive because of the layout of the rooms. My medium sized high elf is able to stand up under and on the 2nd floor.

I'm definatly getting my 5 silver a weeks worth!

Please feel free to visit my house/room on Permafrost in Castleview in the Inn (2nd floor) if you would like to see the whole place.

I'm also working on a 2 room house in Qeynos Harbor. The larger room has two floors with a two storey circular entryway. This time im useing two kinds of rugs stacked on top of eachother since one rug is see through but your able to stand on it and the other is see-able but not able to stand on it. Its a work in progress but the 2nd floor is built so if anyone would like to see it please visit Violett's room on the 3rd floor in the Inn in Qeynos Harbor, the only door on the right.

Message Edited by GwenRelentless on 05-07-2006 08:01 PM

Message Edited by GwenRelentless on 05-07-2006 08:02 PM

Thanks!! :smileyvery-happy:

I was an architecture major when i did this house.(I've since switched majors to computer science but i will always keep it as a hobby) I really like the layout and when your actually inside it, it doesnt feel cramped at all. Just cosy.

I'll make sure and post up my pics of my two room loft when its done.

Message Edited by GwenRelentless on 05-14-2006 09:41 PM

You might be able to get a couple extra items in there if you use large quaint maple tables instead of the little square ones - they're double the length so you could use just half the number and free up some item spaces that way. Looks good though, nice work!
