Nice house <span>:smileyhappy:</span>As a Freeportian I was in Qeynos last week for a dragon rune and it dawned on me that now the guards are attackable and don't boot you, its a realistic possiblity to get a house in the opposing city (on PvE servers at least).  You'd just have to be careful about position (i.e. door not near a raid guard's route).  Can you bank with opposing faction bankers?  And can you join opposing faction tradeskill instances?
