<div><font face="Comic Sans MS" color="#ccffff" size="3">found out that the Halfling newbie quest reward was a pair of flowers, like the kind you see scattered around the 'Shire now.  so of course, i just *had* to do something with them.  i did the quest six times over (which would have taken about an hour if i hadn't thoroughly explored all the new Queen's Colony stuff and several subclasses i've been curious about) with six throwaway Halfling alts.  each vase has three of the pairs of flower mounted at different heights and angles to give it that bouqet look.  i'm really pleased with the result!</font></div><div><font face="Comic Sans MS" color="#ccffff" size="3"></font> </div><div align="center"><img src="http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y122/iesmeh/Disha/EQ2_000064.jpg"></div><div align="center"> </div><div align="center"> </div><div align="center"><img src="http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y122/iesmeh/Disha/EQ2_000065.jpg"></div>

<div></div>Those are great looking! I had been experimenting with putting my flowers into a vase, but couldn't get anything as lovely looking. <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> I ended up just putting them into the dirt box by the window.  I think I may have to try again with this idea though. :smileywink:

Can you "pick up" the flowers once your halfling alts placed them in your room? They really are beautiful <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /><div></div>

<div><font color="#ccffff" size="3" face="Comic Sans MS">in exploring the other new newbie race quests, i've been disappointed to find that not all races recieve house items as rewards.  not even close.  :smileysad:</font></div><div><font color="#ccffff" size="3" face="Comic Sans MS"></font> </div><div><font color="#ccffff" size="3" face="Comic Sans MS">however, i did find a new type of flower, sort a shrub of flowers, available via the High Elf newbie race quest...</font></div><div><font color="#ccffff" size="3" face="Comic Sans MS"></font> </div><div align="center"><img src="http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y122/iesmeh/EQ2_000071.jpg"></div><div align="center"> </div><div align="center"> </div><div align="center"> </div><div align="center"><img src="http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y122/iesmeh/EQ2_000070.jpg"></div><div align="center"> </div><div align="center"> </div><div align="left"><font color="#ccffff" size="3" face="Comic Sans MS">unlike the Halfling flowers, this is just a flat texure three times over at various angles, and it doesn't stand up to close scrutiny, so i'm at a bit of a loss as to how to use it effectively.  i might just plant a few around the bases of my tiki statues standing in my planters, tho...  that could work...  i'll have to try it out and see if i like the way the colors look together.  any other ideas?</font></div>

<div></div><blockquote><hr>Nepeta_Lissus wrote:<div>Which quest is this? I want flowers tooo!!!!</div><hr></blockquote><div><font color="#ccffff" size="3" face="Comic Sans MS">in the Baubbleshire and Castleview, you'll find mentor npcs for Halflings and High Elves.  start a new character with one of these races and leave the Queen's colony immediately, as you're allowed to do so now.  both of these flower house items are rewards for the very first quests these new npcs give ya.</font></div><div><font color="#ccffff" size="3" face="Comic Sans MS"></font> </div><div><font color="#ccffff" size="3" face="Comic Sans MS">once you have the item, you switch back over to your main, give the temporary alt Trustee access to whatever home you want to place them in, and then switch back over to the alt and place.  presto!  then you delete the alt and repeat until you have as many for your home as you need.  note that even if you make your alt with the same name each time, you'll still have to remove the old alt from Trustee access and then add the new alt, as the characters are identified within the game by numbers, not just by the their names.  so Trustee access for one won't work for another, same name or not.</font></div><div> </div>

<div></div>Um, aren't those halfling flowers the same as the wood elf flowers?

<div></div>For the high elf Flowers you could put a bunch of them together on top of each other to get rid of the flat look, and creat a kinda bush, though it would take alot of high elf slaves hehe <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />
