I have been searching the forums and various websites for the info but can not find it. Does anyone know what status reduction you get for house pets? Is there a chart somewhere that breaks it all down for you?

Trying to get a plan together to move out of my little 1 room hovel into something grander.

I havn't got anything handy, but the info you want can be easily found by visiting the pet vendor, and the broker selecting house items, the status reduction is shown if you examine each animal.

I've not seen any guide, but here's some quick things from personal experience.

Baby dragons give a hefty amount of status reduction (1K), but they're in limited supply due to being given out 1 per collectors edition account, so you're likely to pay a premium for one.

The pets in the pet stores in Freeport and Qeynos give minimal status. The general rule of thumb for those pets is that the more expensive the pet is, the more status it will reduce.

Arena pets, and holiday purchase pets such as the scare crow, are 0 status reduction.

The other status-reducing pets are generally quested or special access, and you'll have to decide if it's worth your time/money to either do the quests yourself or bribe someone with the right access to go in and get you one. (A lot of 'em are no trade). An example would be the no trade house pets you can buy from inside the various maj'dul courts. Court of the coin has a tiny crio sphinx, and a spotted leopard, both reducing status rent by 200, for a cost of 12g each.

In the end, you may find that it's better to just pick up a couple pets at the pet store, such as the halasian mauler, then do some hunting for furniture. (THAT, I can provide guide info for! )

Thank you both for your replies. I am aware that I could find out the information while in game, but at work atm and wanted to do something to kill time. (not much going on around here on a Friday)

I have checked out your guilde on traders and it is very nice. It will come in handy when I do go furniture shopping.
