<DIV>The new zone for the bloodline chronicles "Tomb of Night" is causing a fatal error crash whenever I try to zone in. <DIV>There appears to be no chest drops in Tomb of Night.</DIV>

I have not paid for the adventure pack and the checkbox is still grey on the launcher for the AP files. I cannot enter the new zone, although I was able to /claim the ring and get the quest to enter it. Is everyone on test supposed to be able to test the pack?

The Tomb of Night seems like a mostly solid zone from what we had seen so far. We did /bug a few things during our Adventure in there. It seems that mobs aggro when you get close to the breakable walls. Not sure if this is meant to be but I would of thought that if you were going to have a surprise mob jump at you that it would happen right as your broke the wall down. Another thing is that during our 3 hour time in there we did not see 1 form of loot other then body drops so again not sure if chest drops have been implemented yet or not. I do hope that the chest start appearing though. (I have a thing for chest <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />) Other then that we had a very good time in there as exp. was good for our small group 34Inquis/34 Guardian. I am looking forward to going in with a full group though as some mobs that we encountered were for 3 or more and so we could not finish our quest assigned to us.

<DIV>I know that this was stated in the other thread but I want to 'pile on' this feedback in this one as well.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I think some NPC balancing is in order.  As a Lvl 31 Monk, I entered D'Morte's chamber and started to make my way through.  The mostly white/blue (with a few yellows) crowd was very nice, it was challenging.  Close on some fights not so on others.  However,  the boss mobs are Lvl 35^ Heroic events.  They are NOT soloable by a 31Monk (or any solo class that I know).  If I come back when they are soloable the rest will be mostly grey.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>In short, the solo instance, is not soloable.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Rondari <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

Still no loot drops as of 3/18 12am EST Tomb of Night.  Could not advance the D'mort quest beyond "find a way to go to the next level of the cavern" in the Tomb of Night or the Spies quest from the Hand of Marr at all.  It may be because there are no items in yet, but we killed a named with 5 adds in two parts with no drop.  Maybe he had a key?  We killed off 3 adds, and then came back and killed him and the other two adds if that helps.

<P>I went in as a 33 Wizard. The regular mobs were blue/green. some were singles, some pairs v, and some tripples vv. I would echo the comment that it was tough but fun.  I had to be very careful pulling mobs, they are close enough that you can pull two if you arent careful.</P> <P>The mini bosses, on the other hand are really tough.  Yellow ^ to me.  I tried several tactics and didnt get one below half. Tried straight nuking, multiple DoT's, DoT/root (which never worked), HO's. The only thing I did consistently was die.</P> <P>I'm not sure if the levels of the mobs are set, or if they adjust to the strength of the group.  If this is the case, then I don't think this is a solo area. If the levels are set, then i'd have to say the bosses would have to be at least blue to have a chance.</P> <P>Also, just my impression, but the regular mobs seemed tougher than normal blues.  I died several times to single blues, due to interupts. The fights were closer than they usually are when I fight yellows.  Not that I think they should be easier (the normal ones) but should be more xp than blue green based on toughness.</P>

Just did two writs for the Hand of Marr in the Tombs of Night.  It is starting to get a bit redundant going in and out of that same dungeon.  My biggest concern upon handing in the quest is that you do NOT get the 9999 status points that are supposed to be a reward.  This is also true for when you successfully scrye.  Too bad, as the roughly 50k status I would have from those if they were working properly would be very nice <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

I don't think theyre really upposed to have 9999 status reward. why do I say that? because I had a level 8 quest in Freeport that also said it gave 9999 status XD

I disagree on the 35^ being balanced for 2 30's.  Yes if you have a warrior/priest combo, but not so true for say rogue/mage.  I'm not speaking from personal experience on anything other than warrior priest, just speculating that many will have trouble completing this at 30-33.  The shame will be if people miss the peak of tomb of night which is a fantastic dungeon. Otherwise, the burial chamber is pretty awesome.  The story is nice, the atmoshere and puzzle like quest is really fun.  I did not encounter any bugs while doing it saturday, say a way to get more than 2 people in (already reported).  I really liked the interacting with tombstones, vases and especially exploding walls.  Way to go on that. I was able to enter the tomb of night before completing the access quests second trip back to the burial chamber.  Not sure if that is intended or not.  Some people I was speaking with got a bit confused there as I think the quest moves from access to heratige or someplace else. The tomb of night was simply outstanding for a group of 30's.  Again the walls/vases were very fun, creatures challenging, visually well done and the clues in the environment are fantastic (my wife figured them out).  It was so worth the effort for yet another access quest (side note: a few to many access quests around level 25-30). I know this is late in posting, but I can't access the message boards at home due to some problems on my computer.  However I really wanted to say that this dungeon really brought back some first time gaming magic for me.   Nothing but highest raves from me, thank you. <div></div>

<DIV>I am not saying that it is easy, but it is doable.</DIV> <DIV>Have done it with a guardian/warlock combo, defiler/inquisitor combo, inquisitor/bruiser combo, and have seen rogue/warlock do it, and I know berzerker/wizard was attempting (not sure of results on that one though)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I would agree that it is easier for a healer+random class...but as a defiler/inquisitor, it was really challening, and death did occur.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Nec</DIV>
