<DIV>I checked this area of the board and haven't seen it, although know the topic has come up before...so thought I would make a post.</DIV> <DIV>I would gladly pay for the service if were availble for Test.  I am sure there are many others who also would like to see their stats online.</DIV> <DIV>Please consider...<img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /><BR></DIV> <DIV>Necessity</DIV>

They answered this before. The gist of the reason behind the decision to not offer it: The results on the server wide stats and world wide stats would be skewed by testing characters and gm controlled circumstances. Test is not a clean environment. They are aware that people might want these benefits but they stated it would not be available and encouraged people to play here that don't find it necessary for their enjoyment of the Test Server. This service is linked to the personal character stats pages.~Eva

<DIV>Thanks for the reply<img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV>While I don't find it necessary to have the service, as have played on Test since day 1, it would be nice for them to tie those figures into an access controlled area, which wouldn't be that hard to do.  I mean, I don't care if I can't compare my characters with others, but it would be nice to know how/when last deaths, highest melee damage/spell damage, etc on the Test Server.  I assume they are keeping track of that data as they are on other servers, just have it excluded due to skewing the other servers (which makes sense).</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Either way, I would still like to be able to see my stats (even if Test  were separate from the rest of the servers, or only viewable based on station account).</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Nec</DIV>

This is all my opinion and assumption. It would be alot of work, it seems, for a few hundred of their 350 thousand players. They have more serious things to work on. I know they value us, but realistically I just don't see it happening. I would love a guild roster and so on too. If they did make something happen like this it would be the height of generosity. I help them, but who am I kidding, I play on Test because I like the environment. I am not so altruistic as to believe I do it because it is the right thing to do or something. It is worth submitting bug reports and so on.~Eva

<DIV>While I fully understand and accept the reasoning for us not having the eqplayers stuff... I would like to toss my hat in the ring as another who would enjoy having it. I really missed the guild chat while at work personally, was kinda fun on live to be able to drop in that way. That and I am curious how Eeek stands in the worldwide most quests list.. he is one insane questing mouse!</DIV>

<DIV>While I understand that there are issues with doing this, there also has to be a way to do it.  It should not be that hard to not include test server data in the worldwide numbers, and I don't think anyone would mind if this information was limited by station account either.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I also would love to see this done in any form.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

Yes it would be nice and I agree with some of you that we should have access to at least the basic features of it like the Chat from offline. I too understand why we can't have all the features but there are a few I'm hopeing that can be put into place with not to much effort. As for population we are getting more people all the time and considering test has only been up for a few months and we are still early on I am sure that a year from now we will have a nice sizeable population here compared to right now.

<DIV>Another possibility would be for the to add another instance of the database they use for live.  It honestly wouldn't use any more resources.  And test could be it's own independant entity with all of the features that live has.  </DIV>
