<DIV>With mentoring going to test soon - it would be nice if SOE would revisit its policies on 4 characters per account.  I know I am not a prime example, but there are probably plenty of people who have 4 characters in various stages of the game.  Mentoring, if nothing else, would make people more likely to start and enjoy alts.  I used to think 4 characters was enough - now I would reevaluate it.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<DIV>I have 8 character slots.  I don't mind paying a little bit more for this privledge.  All Access is $7 more per month - which, if you compare to my 2-3 EQ1 accounts at various points in my career, it's quite a bargain.  I feel for you if you can't get upgraded to it for ANY reason and want more characters - I almost didn't transition from Beta to Live over the 4 slots issue, before I realized how long it would be before having an alt was viable.  Of course, then I got into tradeskills (original system).  That ended that.</DIV>

I have 8 characters also including my test characters. And wouldn't you know that a few days ago the only 2 servers to go down were Guk and Test... Had to play Age of Empires. I wouldn't mind seeing a few more allowed also, I'd still keep the all access as well. Allowing a couple for another server for downtimes would be wonderful.~Gem

<DIV>I would like to see another way to add extra characters other than the Station Access.  I think that the access thing is a great deal, but unfortunatly I can't do it with my account.  A summer or two ago I got an email for a free month of EQ1 to try to get me to come back, but I didn't realize that it was UbiSoft that did it.  So now my EQ1 billing info goes to UbiSoft and my account is flagged as not compatible with Station Access.  I called customer support and they told me that it is impossible to upgrade my acct, nor can I pull the EQ1 back to Sony.  Accounts are a one way tranfer from Sony to UbiSoft so I'm in effect screwed.  Hopefully there is some fix for people like me.  I also wanted the Access to go back to SWG for a few days just to run amok.</DIV>

Don't they have a character transfer option if you pay them? Is that only between servers on the same account?

Mentor bugs: Turning Mentor off bumps power and health to full. Mentor someone one level lower in your group and unmentor to refresh power and health between fights, never low power.Buff before Mentor, buffs remain even when level drops.Pet before mentor....pet stays. Unbelievable slaughter ensues.~Eva

So we didn't bug it, it seemed to be working fine and not allowing a high level pet to be used that way.<BR>

Waitaminit. Did you try it on higher level mobs?Say a 40 pet, killing level 38-40 mobs, caster is mentoring a level 32 or 31 player. It won't grey out, and that range might be too high. But nor are two level 31-32 meant to kill level 38 or even 36th level mobs.Just a thought.

I'm not a big fan of the timer. On our raids sunday, there was crazy amounts of mentoring going on. Not for health/power, but to find xp ranges for people who would show up or change a tactic against a creature. Alot of it was because of unfamiliarity of the system, but a timer would have been a major hastlehoff.Bugs: twice I was the target of 5+ mentors in a raid and after running a long distance I would lose all updates from the server. I could still chat, type, move and everyone else could see me. I could not see anyone else/npcs or any chat. /quitting was the only option that resolved this. No idea how to repeat it and not sure if being mentored by 5+ is the cause, I just know that is when it happened. Also, no one else was affected by this that I heard of. XP rates might need some adjusting.
