Question about consignment containers and multiple chars

<DIV>My question is, what happens if you have two characters with consignment containers?  I know only one can sell at a time, but what happens to the placed consignment containers when you switch over?  Do they just disappear then reappear when you log that character back in, or do you have to place them every time you switch characters?</DIV>

I'd assume it would just delist it, and remove the items from the box and make it un-clickable.
