<DIV>Hello, I am posting this for 2 reasons:<BR>A) on most class forums a few people say our class is rotten, then others contridict that person. Please visit the weaponsmiths forum. There is nothing good to say there. This class is in serious need of help. We immediately need our weapons to be turned up, or type of craftable item added</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>B) I am asking all weaponsmiths who have crafted post LU 24 to post here simply stating satisfied, or dis satisfied. This way it can more easily be seen how many people are not happy. If it turns out there are more people satisfied then I thought, then perhaps there is something i am missing</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I was also wondering from the Dev's if they would at least post here explaining why they are not going to change anything about the class (if that is the case), and why they feel we are balanced at the moment esp in comparison to the other classes. No arguing afterwards. I will look at it objectfully. Perhaps there is some I missed. </DIV>

<P>Sadly most posts that begin with Devs in the title get ignored on principle, not matter how genuine the cause.</P> <P>I will say I have a lowbie weaponsmith (level 22) that is satisfied but then again I am only making weapons on request for the odd guildmate alt etc. And the cost of making my weapons is very low, and harvesting is a simple run out to Nek Forest. I understand where the higher level weaponsmiths would be concerned as it no longer appears (if it ever was) a viable crafter class for making a profit.</P> <P>I also would be interested to hear from someone official as to why the changes to the weapons/armour to make them so inferior to what they were, let alone dropped items.</P> <P>Sark.</P>

<DIV>Armorers are in the same boat, although weaponsmiths have it much worse because even crappy treasured drops are superior to rare crafted weapons.</DIV>

<DIV>yeah, at least armorer goods are viable until you raid and such. If you search the broker, its hard to top most xegonite items for the price. I see people in xegonite all over. But yeah. a comparison would be if things that cost 20 gold on the broker had 30 or 40 more mitigation than any of your pieces. Thats kind of the weaponsmiths situation. Still, I know what your saying. </DIV>
im currently using weaponsmith made imbued weapons on my level 23 zerker and until recently my 53 paladin. they are a decent alternative to dropped items. **BUT ONLY IF YOU IMBUE THEM**I believe that TS made items should be a step above common mob drops, and a step below rare mob drops. Rare TS items should be equal to common raid items, and below rare raid items.<div></div>

<DIV>cost me 2 plats to relearn those advanced recipes from #10, #20, 21 to 38, #30 and #40 are most expensive. SOE isnt very nice to have them rip out old recipes without any form of replacements.</DIV>

Of all the craft classes that could use helpful tweaking in, Weaponsmithing is easily the one that needs it the most. I am hoping the idea of socketed weapons is going to be added, allowing players to add additional stats or effects to their weapons with the help of a crafter. That might increase the demand for player made weapons.<div></div>

<P>5-6 more months waiting for EoF is a quite a bit to wait. from what i am guessing, they may add the elemental damages for example fire swords or frost swords, then fire mace and frost mace. they come with new AA skills base on elementals for defenses.</P> <P>wow, this would create lot of character varities, ending the hypes of carbon copies or cut up clones. one guy would be built to resist to fire bases while other character would be immune to frost or acid or electrical damages. this would change the dynamic of gameplay and would need to carry 3-5 different types of elemental damages to find the strageties.</P> <P>it is something most weaponsmither would look forward to make several new elemental weapons.</P>
