<DIV>Ok, lets try to create a thread of just posting what you imagine the perfect MMORPG to be. Please do not reply to someone elses post here and don't let turn this in a flame war. Also put beside it from a rating from (0 to 10) how well EQ2 provides this to you. This could be an excellent thread to see where improvements could be made</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Mine.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>1. Community Based - Player ran communities.  (2)</DIV> <DIV>2. Good thread.  Here is my shot.  I haven't purchased the DoF expansion yet so my view of the world is a bit limited since I haven't experienced all the game has to offer.  Highest character level is 42.<BR> <BLOCKQUOTE> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>1. (5)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>-Couple more comments.  I would like to see better loot drops in game.  I would like to see more customizable armor with armor dyes introducted.   Also more customizable weapons as well. Give the characters a unique look and ability to tailor one's character.</DIV> <DIV>-I would like to see more solo or duo zones, instanced and non instanced.  For all the controvesy, I think Splitpaw was a really innovative concept with scalable, group or solo content.  I would love to see a future adventure pack on this scale.  </DIV> <DIV>- I love being able to create a custom character such as my first MMORPG I played--AC1.  You could really tailor a character to your liking.  I also liked assigning my experience points to different areas.  If you had a truely gimped character, it was totally your fault.   </DIV> <DIV>-A perfect MMORPG should be a vibrant world with a steady influx of new players into the world and older players staying on.  I don't think that I would like the mass popularity of WoW but somewhere in between.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV></BLOCKQUOTE>

<DIV>Maybe I should clarify.. my list was everything I see in a perfect MMORPG.. and the number on the right is how much EQ2 offers that for me. rating from 0 - 10.  Your list might be different than my list of course.</DIV>

<DIV>Is there a new MMORPG being evaluated on the test server or should this have gone in "non-gameplay discussion" where it would of had eleventy-billion replies by now :smileytongue:</DIV>

<P>A MMORPG can mean many thing I belive we need to look at WHY we PAY TO PLAY</P> <P> </P> <P>I use to belive I was PAYING TO PLAY! too.</P> <P> </P> <P>1)  Keep away from people useing chareter editor's (why I left Bauldurs Gate and NWN)</P> <P>2) Keep away from people selling/buying ingame stuff offline with RL cash</P> <P>3) Keeping the Systerm faire for all Class's and Player type's </P> <P>4) Continuely growing in-depth interactive storyline</P> <P>5) An Good Dev / GM Team (how can I report to there Boss's? lol)</P> <P>6) Removement of ALL BOTTERS!</P> <P>7) REROLL when a exploit or bug happens (this is apart of number 3, keep it faire for all not just catering for 1 aspect) </P>
