I know the rules, etc. But I really don't feel like creating a character on Test and leveling him to 20 just to answer my questions. If my post is out of line, delete/move it or whatever, but they're related to the recent patch on Test. Most are serious, some I just couldn't resist...Removed the restriction that only guild patrons can spend status points. What's this mean? Does this mean I can spend society quest points at city merchants? Without being guilded? Or... Also, did they fix the display for those with over 999 society status points? Please explain You are no longer able to drag lore items from your overflow slot into the shared bank. This is really confusing. Lore items are just that, Lore. Meaning you can only have one. If an alt doesn't have one, why can't I give him one? Is Lore == No-trade? Please explain Main UI: UI window settings should now save more consistently.Yay! Hopefully this is in reference to Chat Windows. >.<Lady Faideth will no longer attempt to appear to be male.Good. I was starting to wonder if there was some pre/post-op dungeon somewhere...The colors of certain ranger and monk armor quest rewards have been modified.I seriously hope this means what I think it means... No more pastel pansy predators? Society task rewards have been reduced.Er... More reason to NOT do them?A one-room apartment in Qeynos now allows a hundred furnishings to be placed inside it, and two vendors can now operate from a single merchant board. Is this Qeynos proper? Or anywhere? Horses used as mounts now have footstep sounds.Did they go on slim fast, too? They REALLY need it.Thanks for any responses or whatever... I just want to know what to expect.

lore items are not normally allowed in the shared bank slot. Dropping them from overflow was obviously a an unintended bug and was fixed. As to why no lore items are intended to be in the shared bank slot, well that is for the developers to answer, but that has been the functioning mechanic for a while now.

DrachanNow Followers can spend status points too. Nothing more, nothing less. That answers my question. /rollseyes. FYI, I'm not guilded, nor will I be guilded. What's that supposed to mean? Followers? What's the difference between a patron and follower? And what if the Alt has the item too? There is no way to check if the Alt has it, so they have to restrict it to prevent duplicate lore items.Hmm. You didn't play EQ I, huh? In EQ I they managed to prevent duplicate lore items even though you could put them in the shared bank slot. It was simple. Char_01 loots Lore_01. He then puts Lore_01 in the shared bank. Now Char_02 or Char_03 can access it. Now, Char_01 loots yet another Lore_01. He can loot it and store in his personl inventory/bank but it cannot be placed in the shared bank. Nor can he even pick up the one in the shared slot. EQ I vets know what I am talking about, as do the Devs. Lore is NOT supposed to be one per account, but one per character. This is what I was referring to and asking about.Lancealittle:If you know the rules, then why did you post a long list of questions for the testers? You may want to refer to the letters in all caps on the top of the board.Quick to respond, slow to comprehend? Yes, I stated that I know the rules, etc. And yes I still posted. But I also mentioned that if a mod had a problem with it, they could delete it. IMHO, this a community forum. If they don't have a forum that fits my particular quest, I will post in the forum that next closely matches my query. Also, if you actually read/understood what I typed out in plain English, you would see that I said I wasn't going to level a character on Test to 20 just to answer my questions. Nor did I didn't specify that I was asking "Testers", did I? Lastly, did you read my sig? What is it the kids say? IBTL?You apparently know all too well, eh my friend? It's the moderators of the forums who handle "bending of the rules". Your name is not red, nor is any aspect of your mini-profile there in the left corner. Someone who is just a fellow poster who quotes rules or runs their mouths off at other at posters in reference to the rules or anything else in counter to their post is what I term a Troll. I have 0 tolerance for Trolls. If you have nothing constructive to add to my post, I would appreciate it if you would mind your own fuggin' business. Thanks.
Message Edited by Nai`Ji on 12-17-2004 11:53 AM
