<DIV>So there's this guy in my guild called Necrid. He's actually a real life friend and when I turned him onto EQ2 I expected to invite his little necro into our fold. He told me what he was going to use as a name (Nercid) and we planned time to get him set up. Well after several attempts to invite him and his insistence that he was in game and on the correct server, I asked him to spell his name for me very slowly. He responded with "N..E..R.. (sigh) Dammit! I'll be right back."</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thirty four levels later... After several complaints to me that he was having difficulty soloing even green mobs I took it upon myself to see why that was. Upon examining his equipment I found several items on his person that were level 15 or below, the lowest of which was a set of flayed zombie skin sleeves that were level nine. After a thorough explanation of his problem I proceeded to bestow upon him the monicker of "The Quintessential Noob". It was stories like these that became the catalyst, the doomed muse, and the idea for a comic strip formed.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>So here is my first attempt at using my new Wacom tablet. I hope you enjoy</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><IMG src="http://i78.photobucket.com/albums/j96/angela_ddp/Nercid1.jpg"></DIV>

<DIV>Your necro / halloween tricker-treater is adorable but I am scared to death of your inquisitor.  </DIV> <DIV>"She" looks like "she" needs a few more hormonal supplements ...</DIV>

Being a former necro (now a conjuror), I can sympathize with Necrid being followed around by a fleshless man in desperate need of a tic-tac who is older than UO <img src="/smilies/283a16da79f3aa23fe1025c96295f04f.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />It's always refreshing, in the days of complex graphic design media, to see something simplistic, yet very funny <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />Nice job <img src="/smilies/283a16da79f3aa23fe1025c96295f04f.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /><div></div>

<DIV>You all do realize thats this drawing is satyrical right? I thought it was obvious that I wasn't going for realism, just enough to make the class recognizable. It seems I did accomplish that much but I need to make it more cartoonish apparently. Maybe I'll try a Chibi Inquisitor next time.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>As an aside, if you think the face is wrong then you haven't seen the dark elf inquisitor I used as a model. Lets just say she looked like all those evil prep school teachers you've seen in so many comedies.</DIV>

rofl.    I love that and especially that necro.    The inquis looks a lot like a dark elf SOGA model to me.<div></div>

That was funny matey.  I got a good chuckle from the necro staff.  I've known people like that.  Myself included.  After I rolled my nercomancer alt I grinded through the levels and forgot all about my armor.  I was in a sad state for awhile there.  LOL.  Good drawing! <div></div>

I think it's something about the expression on it... a kind of manically happy gullibility   <span>:smileyvery-happy:</span>  excellent.</div>
