<div>I know this has been asked many times, but I want to know if there is a better choice on a PVP server:</div><div> </div><div>Shadow Blade</div><div>Villany</div><div>Impale</div><div>Bleed</div><div> </div><div>My guess is Shadow Blade on PVP for the huge opening damage, though a close second is the Villany buff for extra DPS/Agi buff.</div><div> </div><div>Thoughts?</div>

Hi..I created an Assassin on the PvP servers and just got to 20..Anyway, I picked Villiany because when you get too close to any Qeynosians they can see right through your invis..So its hard to get Shadow Blade off in time..Just my opinion..Plus..DPS/Agi is just as good <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /><div></div>

i picked Bleed, coz its a DoT that does more Dmg<div></div>

Depends on definition of +36% dps on villainy.  And how dual weild weapons and their stats work.This post assumes that auto attack calculated damage per second for dual wielders is simply averaging the damage listing on the weapon and dividing by the delay; do this for both weapons and add each weapons value to get 1 DPS value for auto attack.  Also assume +DPS% doesn't affect values in skills.In summary, the flat out calculated DPS for the three skills, Bleed wins out, doing more damage over time. but Shadowblade wins with instant damage which might be important in PvP.Consider DPS "gains" you get from a particular master upgrade.For example, where your old weapon did average 5 dmg every 2 seconds =2.5 DPSVillainy increases that to3.4 DPSincreasing DPS by 0.9 in this case.Comparing the increase in DPS of the skills ,app1 to master 1:Sh.Blade: 1.83 -> 3.45 DPS = 1.62 DPS gainImpale: 3.08-> 4.98 DPS = 1.90 DPS gainBleed: 3.98 -> 6.08 DPS = 2.1 DPS gainSo, with that pretend 5/2 weapon above, villainy wouldn't be the right choice to  increase overall damage per second in a fight.However, if you have an uber weapon like30 dmg every 3 seconds, 10 DPS.  Even then with villainy you get a gain of 10->13.6 DPS = 3.6 DPS gainwhich beats everything. So, it depends on your weapons. To be exact, to beat 2.1 DPS (Bleed) on your weapons, your current , without villainy applied, DPS would need to be equal to or greater than 5.83.  Because at 5.83 DPS on your weapons, you'd get with Master Villainy an increase to 7.93 DPS which is a gain of 5.83->7.93 = 2.10 DPS exactly the same as Bleed's gain.6 step process.step 1. Turn off villainy.2.Find DPS of main hand3. Find DPS of offhand4. add the two5. if total is greater than 5.83 DPS then choose villainy6. else pick Bleed.data:Villainy: +36% dps ratingShadow Blade: average 206 dmg per minute (60 second recast time) =3.45 damage per second (DPS)Impale: average 14 damage instantly and every 4 seconds for 5 ticks plus 50 damage instantly =4.98 DPSBleed: average 74 damage instantly plus average 10 damage instantly plus average 16 damage instantly and every 4 seconds for 6 ticks, all this every 24 seconds =6.08 DPS<div></div>
