OK so (2nd poster) you are saying if you try to boogie/disengage using this you are SOL, but that the stun-scoot-maskofnight..etal-rear stealth-rear non stealth set will still be viable ? If that is true hooray hoorah. If the second part of that equation proves false we are hosed but good. I am having some issues logging in ( wife grounded me since I went a tad overboard for the double exp weekend) so any info appreciated because I am unable to test atm. OR maybe there is a post lvl60 stun in our future ?? I did not hear of anything on test.

It wasn't meant to enable recovery or escape? BS. It's a stun, it was meant to be used to stun the mob. You know, to make it stop doing stuff. <strong>It was meant to be useful</strong>.

I read that it was a bug and that it still lasts for the same amount of time as it use to. All Ranger snares and stuns say 1 second as well. I am pretty sure its just an error in the reporting of the spell <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> I will try it out when I get home and let you know.<div></div>

It works as normal. If you're having problems on solo mobs I'd probably attribute it to lag.<div></div>

<div></div><div>I have been experiencing a lot of problems with Cheapshot + Shrouded + Backstab on solo mobs since KoS too, but the places I have most trouble are where there is a lot of lag ... cause, well, theres a lot of lag everywhere a level 59-60 might be fighting for experience. *grin*</div><div> </div>

<div></div>Also it has a what 5% chance to break if the mob takes damage and since basically all of our smaller attacks are dots it could be breaking the mob out of stun early, also we have like 5 stealth attacks you can do from the front btw, works great for me soloing.

it won't work any longer to interrupt epic mobs =(
<div></div>In my recent experience cheap shot won't stun anything ^ or greater long enough to get off mask of night and another attack, which kinda makes it harder to solo, if that's what ya do. which in my case, it is! :smileywink:

cheap shot breaks immediately on ^ mobs as soon as you hit with another attack. for this reason when hitting heroics i use cheap shot combined with either crippling strike or finishing blow as they are good dmg and you can get them off in the time you have.<div></div>

<div></div>Yea I don't understand this. Every assasin i talk to in game has absolutely no problem stunning ^ up heroics. Yet when i solo, it drops after less than 2 seconds. Yet somehow when I'm GROUPED it stuck every time for the full six seconds. I don't understand that at all.Edit: IT dosn't even hold on grey ^s. Yea. <div></div><div>So wait...you people actually bother to use Cheap Shot to give you an extra second or two to use Escape? Whats the point? Escape you can use while you move and it cant be stopped...frankly I think the trick is to just be smart enough to know when to use Escape before its too late. And I havent seen a change with Cheap Shot at all. It still doesnt last very long with any mob that is ^ or higher just like it always has.</div>

I mean I don't have any fabled gear but I have all legendary colbalt / vanadium.. all my big DPS CA's are Master and all others Adept3. I do believe we should at least have the ability to stun solo ^ or ^^ mobs within reason which means SoE needs to give us some better stunning abilities at least enough to get one or two good CA's off. Overall I think assassin DPS is good and maybe all we need is a better stun for soloing and a better defensive stance... really? i havn't gotten that high on my assassin but it seems to me like 6 seconds is perfect (if it was a gurarenteed to hold that six seconds).<div></div>

<div></div><div></div><p>I have NOT been to KoS other than to harvest and die, but I can usually CS- get behind - Mask - big hitter -cripple before they turn on me. That makes for a pretty good tally of damage in a short time IMHO.</p><p>If the mob is a biggy I have already pulled with rear arrow- front arrow- so poison has proced and I have dropped debuffs and DOTs so the baddie should pretty much be on his way by then. <div></div>Lag seems to be the issue with me regardless of what class I'm playing. And of course - the mobs cheat as they seem to be immune to the lag monster. :smileymad:

<div></div>Andale and all....What is really lame is that for a clicky fighter like myself lag causes me to pull icons rather than cast the spell. In the beginning of a fight with a harder mob this is sure death as I struggle to replace the icon while said mob kicks the bejeezus out of me.

I went in search of the stinkin lock button after I did it about 10 or so times and my 3 yr old started repeating what I was saying like a parrot. Although, it is kinda funny sounding when a kid that is still working on mastering the language starts spittin out the MFs and Ss all over the place and even knows the correct context in which to use it.</div>
