Shrouded strike?

25 Assassin here, and unfortunatly Im still using the apprentice 2 varrient of this ability, but here is my question.  Why is it that when fighting mobs my level or only one level above me this works fine, but if they have a single arrow up or more then I never get into stealth and thus get pounded?  Its making soloing very very difficult.  Any help would be appreciated.<div></div>

The stealth effect doesn't execute unless you score a hit on the mob. For yellow or orange mobs that is less and less likely. For even con or lower mobs the chance is that you will almost always hit.<div></div>

I think the ability must be bugged in some way.  Im not level 26, using shrouded strike adept 1, and cheap shot combo.  Each and every time I attempt to tackle a mob, weather they are green blue or white [Removed for Content] only a single arrow up, I cheap shot them, move beind them go to mash shrouded strike and they turn unstunned and bash me before I can use any of my stealthed attacks. I could be fighting yellow mobs with one arrow down and this never happens. Im not sure what the cause is, but I know Im doing the attacks correctly.  Any insight into this would be appreciated.

<div>There is almost exactly enough time from cheap shot to move behind the mob, hit with shrouded strike and then hit with the biggest positional from stealth attack you have ready.  Just make sure you have the big hit queued up, do not hit it when you see yourself go stealth... press shrouding strike and then immediate after click on your big hit so that it will trigger instantaneously after you stealth, you'll make it everytime.</div>

Are you using the macro:: ; usea cheap shot ; autoattack off???If you just hit the ability "cheap shot" and don't turn off autoattack....they'll be unstunned on your next attack (which could happen before you get behind them).<div></div>
