<div>I was grouped with a Troubador the other day who has the Master version of Jester's Cap.  (For those unfamiliar, this ability gives a 40% reduction to re-use timers for spells used within its 30 second window.)    I used Sniper's Shot (15 min reuse).</div><div>  </div><div>40% of 15 = 6, therefore the reuse timer should have gone down to 9 minutes (15-6).</div><div>Instead it became 11 minutes. </div><div> </div><div>-------------------------------------------------------------------------</div><div> </div><div>I decided to (beta)test  'Perfectionist' (50% reduction to re-use timers)  since I had 25aa and was re-speccing.   (Granted, not much use for Rangers since it only affects two of our abilities.)</div><div> </div><div>Sniper's Shot - 15 minute reuse.    10 minutes under Pefectionist      (Should have been 7.5)</div><div>Rain of Arrows - 3 minute reuse.      2 minutes under Pefectionist.     (Should have been 1.5 minutes)</div><div> </div><div>I could believe that Rain of Arrows is rounding up the display and 1.5 minutes is being shown as 2...  </div><div> </div><div>But I find it interesting to note that the two timers are actually being reduced by an exact 33%.   Was Pefectionist originally written up as a 33% decrease?  If so, it seems the new math (50%) never was programmed in.</div><div> </div><div>Offhand suggestion - If you want to make Perfectionist more appealing to Rangers, change the limit of 'timer 2 minutes and greater' to '90 seconds and greater'.   As it stands, that would allow Perfectionist to affect Sniper's Shot, Rain of Arrows, Focus Aim, Hawk Dive, and Veiled Fire which is hardly over-powering.</div>

<div></div>Hardly over powering for us but don't forget we share the same AA's with assassins and making teh timer requirement 90sec would give them another handful of abilities more to use.  When considering AA's especially the line tailored more for melee, try to remember Rangers arent' the only thing that exist.

If you read our Perfectionist AA carefully, you'll see that it "speeds up recast timer", it does not "reduce recast delay"So if it speeds up the timer by 50%, it is 150% as fast in refreshing ... which translates to a 33% reduction in recast time (15 min /1,5 = 10 Min)Could be better worded, but it is correctly implemented<div></div>
