<DIV>Which class makes the best partner for a troubador?  My wife is a 23 troub, I have a 24 pallie, but his heals aren't quite good enough for anything over tough solo mob.</DIV>

<DIV>Troubadors group well with literally almost any class.  You're not necessarily going to be able to take big game with just a duo, but you should find that things go a fair bit faster at places you're able to solo, and that solo adds are no longer a problem.  Troubadors also do very well in duos against mobs which are non-arrowed groups.  At 30 it's a little easier but even in the low 20s the combination of buffs and debuffs gives great synergies with another melee type (I used to run str/agi buff plus Luck plus speed)  The key in a pally/troub duo is realising that it's one of the weakest DPS synergies the bard gets, so until the troub DPS takes off a little better in the 30s you'll probably find it a lot easier to mill through un-arrowed mobs than trying to take on a double-up.  That said, the pair of you should be able to take on a blue double if you're careful (and it may need to be a 22 or lower ^^ for the sake of her DPS hitting more frequently)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I've found that as of 30, troubadors group excellently well with sorcs; while our power song is absolute garbage (in any of its incarnations) our healing song (at 30) is perfect for allowing a caster to convert health to mana; my warlock roommate swears by it and has told me he'd be happy if he never gets Bria's so long as he gets Quiron's Celebration.  Having a PGT means I feel the same way <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The side benefit of a troubador is that the mobs which would slaughter you in 3 seconds typically won't, so long as her songs are up; he who lives to run away, and all that <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />  I can no longer keep track of the number of times I've seen a red health bar when something which should have owned me finally gives up the chase; and I credit survival to NOT having eaten that one last 800-point hit.</DIV>

I tend to find myself solo or in a large group, but of the times I have duo'd my favorite was another scout type. Its fairly easy to manage agro so that mobs alternate who they are mad at....allowing you to swap backstabs & spread the damage around...increasing the effective hp's of the group. For a troubador the best match is probably a dirge since dps is virtually identical & you can cast complimentary/stacking buffs. My 2nd choice would be a fighter....you get some nice HO's and you could still manage agro fairly nicely, if the fighter backs off the taunts you could take agro if they start to get low on HP's

When duo'ing you'll want to go easy on the taunts and let your wife take agro once & awhile then steal it back, that way instead of healing you spread the damage. If you get low on hp's let her keep it til the mob is ded.
