<P>I would say 50/50....but when I group I'm often tank...so trickery can really increase hate.........but then again DPS increases hate as well....</P> <P>hard decision.......</P>

None of these are expectional mII spells.I took shank. I figure it will help me the most soloing and pvping. It has a very high DOT, and you can sometimes land it twice in a fight. It's also nice for DOT kiting things. Stun, Land Shank and Hidden Shiv, tie up/snarl and ranged attack for poison procs. works pretty good. repeat when shank/hidden shiv is up again. Can kill outdoor nameds this way if you have enough space.Trickery can be good for PvE but It's a bit risky for PvP and totally useless on casters.Vicious rake is good for groups, but won't give you the edge in PvP since most of your damage is physical.Bum Rush... a pretty lousy skill if you ask me, especially next to Shank.<div></div>

<DIV>Another thing to think about is that Bum Rush & Trickery masters are "fairly" common drops and are usually available on the broker but I dont ever recall seeing Shank or Vicious Rake.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

For the OP, I feel your pain here. Most of the other M2 choices I've had before were pretty clear cut as to what to take imo. 34 was the really hard one since non of them were that good. V. Rake: Good for debuff and nice damage, but long recast. Shank: Good for another DoT, however (especially while solo) most things die fairly quickly before your DoTs can run their full time. Bum Rush: I figure this isn't the best (damage wise) but being able to spam a M2 spell every like what, 10-15 seconds is going to be bad on aggro in groups. Solo it shouldn't be that big a problem, but it would ONLY be for DPS boost since the fact you get to the behind/side of the mob with stuns negates the interupt really. Trickery: The highest damage, but also a long re-cast. However, it doesn't help you gain aggro like it says it does... so that makes it semi-worthless in groups unless you're off-tanking (and we can make good off-tanks lol) <blockquote><hr>Crimson Dragon wrote:vicious rake.brigands are debuffers before anything else.<div></div><hr></blockquote>In the end I chose V. Rake for that reason pretty much. I figured it had good potentional both solo/group. Solo more for the damage, and group for the debuff. <div></div>

I was in Den once, a wizard there was saying "hmm... only 8k. *sigh*" and I said, coordinate your highest hits for when I say and you'll hit 15 k and more easy. So, I set it up so that I could tell him (like my raid macro), and soon he was hitting for that much. To deal with that hate, I made sure I put on my master Appeal for Mercy on him before that. Two places that the debuff skills of a brigand are revered as godlike: high end raids (especially ones with orange con bosses), and groups with wizzies.
