<div>IMO, the duration on our two dot CA's are to long and need to be reduced by 50%.  Open for discussion.</div>

<div></div><div>Why? cause in solo and group situations, these CA durations are never fully realised as the mob is well dead before the duration expires.  If the sum of our dps is calculated with the full duration of these CA's in mind, wer'e being short changed, hence the durations need to be reduced accordingly.  Crazy I know....</div>

<div>sounds like a great idea to me!</div><div> </div><div>as long as they do the same for other scout classes and give summoners nukes instead of dots.</div>

<div></div>You are right, it would help, but our DOT attacks are such a small part of our DPS that I don't see that as a top 10 issue, or even worth mentioning.  You can effect your DOT much more by changing the speed of your poison from high DD to high DOT, depending on how fast mobs are dying.  Similar to the issues with BoT, which is essentially a DOT, I see it not as getting lower DPS on speed groups but as more efficient DPS in soloing.  BTW, they have done some nice thing to help our soloing to go along with the Ruse line, like Walk the Plank.  Not very effective in most groups and completely wrong for raids, but it makes us solo better.

<div>If you decrease the time they take to tick off, while keeping the same amount of damage, you increase our hate gain over that time. That would make me nervous.</div>

Be careful what you ask for, as a previous Illusionist, "fixes" like this end up nerfiing you.  They decrease the tick time, but then increase the cast time.   After the math is all worked out, you end up losing damage.  <div></div>

got bored and used parser to see what skills do the most damage on raids... this is on great gardener a few weeks ago ( think i was ~65 at the time, and this is just first one i pulled up) 24% melee -180 hits 10% Sideswipe (Adept 3) - 10 hits 7% Skewer (went Int route and got master of this) - 5 hits 7% Spineripper (Master version = less power same damage as adept 1 Disembowel) - 21 hits 6% Vicious Assault (Master 2 = see above) - 8 hits 6% Stab (Adept 3) - 14 hits 5% Dispatch (Adept 3) - 3 hits 5% Concealed Blade - 11 hits 5% Interrupt - 27 hits so on and so forth..... so it's one of my more damaging skills in this fight. the shorter a fight is, the less it does, but it's a great raid damage skill. does high slow damage. <div></div>
