View Full Version : AQ3
<DIV>Is anyone else having a hard time finishing AQ3? I have been working on this for weeks (not straight). I had gotten so put off by this that I level up a mystic and working on a sorc. Every group I get into for AQ3 I spend a few hours in stormhold, and I cant get the group to work on defiled cavaliers. Its all writs, cubes, strongboxes, torrents, misc then disbanded group. Last nights group I was the only one in the group that had anything towards their AQ3, so I thought I had a good chance of walking out with all my stuff. Wrong again. Even with 2 Swashies in the group, same old thing. The Mystic, Monk, and Wizard all got to walk out with their AQ3s finished.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I realize that I am venting, but I am just curious if anyone else is experiencing the same frustration I am having with this quest. Once I am finished, I don't ever want to go into stormhold again.</DIV>

<DIV>I didn't have much difficulty, but I'm in a guild that focuses on assisting each other. I actually stopped after AQ 4 - trade link and better armors are available on the broker for fairly cheap prices (at least they are on my server). Steel brigandine comes to mind, as well as the Bracer of Thunder.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>You might just look for a group that is going in to do goblins or stormlords or something deep in, and try and get them to stop on the way and clear the defiled cavaliers, instead of looking specifically for a group doing AQ 3, as you're going to be in with 5 other people that all want to do their quest first, so they can bail whenever they feel like it afterward.</DIV>
<DIV>I HATE SH!</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Whew.. I feel better already hehe..</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I got through it by inviting every plate wearer I could find into group. We all needed the same thing and so had the same goals. To date I have done AQ1-6 on a Paladin, 1-4 on a Fury (2 boxxing with Paladin and Swashbuckler) and 1-3 on the Swashbuckler. I haven't even attempted #4 yet because I'm still working off debt from #3. Fun fun!</DIV>

AQ3 was the most difficult for me to get a group on...until I hit AQ5. It seems like no one is doing AQ5, I will send out a LFG and never get anything, and I have maybe seen 2 other people in three or four days in TS say the same thing. I am seriously considering abandoning the AQs and just buying a nice chest piece and leggings.

Yea, I hated the SH part too. Same problem. Getting groups to help you do the mobs you needed. Only way I got it finished was in groups that also needed them or guild members helping. That was the worst part of my AQ quest. The only other one I hated more was helping other classes with theirs that needed the rare cats in TS. I hung in there though because they helped me. Thiose things take forever it seems.

Thanks for your advice.

Did you do this before they changed the group damage or is there a place in TS where level 19 gnolls (gray) spawn, or possibly single spawn green ^^? Thanks
