View Full Version : Most Romantic Spot?

02-08-2005, 10:47 PM
By far, the most romantic spot in EQ2 is Mardunk's Falls in the Feerott. A lovely place to go cliff diving, local flora is, well, mostly beautiful. The crystal clear waters of the pool at the feet of the statue are ideal for a mid -afternoon bathe. If only this poor ratonga could find someone to share it with. *tear*((How do you post a pic?))DaltarinNoble RatongaAB Server34th Season Warlock27th Season Jeweler"The Evil shall recieve the enlightnement, for the Good are too pure to recognize it and too chaste to embrace it."<p>Message Edited by WckdTrb on <span class=date_text>02-08-2005</span> <span class=time_text>09:49 AM</span>

Everfrost dock is really amazing, except most everyone voting here can't get there yet.(Except for the stupid sharks)

<DIV>Personally I haven't been many places in the game not having a toon higher then 23 but I think being part of the mile high club on the back off a Griffon could be pretty romantic.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Scurryfoot Rattboy</DIV> <DIV>Qeynosian Ratunga</DIV> <DIV>23 Dirge</DIV> <DIV>Neriak</DIV>

Yall are idiots, most romantic place is most def deep within the heart of solusek eye!!!! in the fires of mountain doom where the ring must be unmade...pfff...who'd believe that storyMost definitely the most romantic place in all of norrath is windstalker village in antonica........beautiful done.....if not there...I would have to say the EL docks

Being a low level (16), I'd have to say that, while it might not be extremely romantic, it is none the less very beautiful. On the end of the dock in Qeynos Harbor, the one where something is being built, at the beginning of dawn when the sky is a light red/purple and the meteor is setting across the ocean, reflecting off the top of the water. Check it out sometime.

I voted Everfrost, the whole zone is really nice. I think it'd win if more people were over the access requirements, too.

<DIV>I'm only lvl 22, but I would have to say that the most romantic spots I have been to would be above the falls in Oakmyst, or the fairy overlook, or in the Baubbleshire.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>-= Suvann</DIV>

i would have voted everfrost as most romantic, but it just seems too cold <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> though that way a gentleman could give up his jacket to a chilly lass, id much prefer a nice warm locale that might might yield the pleasing result of a few LESS articles of clothing. /winkRatzputin Sabbah, Ratongan TemplarGM, The Discordian Society,Neriak Server

<DIV>Its not the locale, but the company you keep there. With hordaurr, the Freeport sewer could be a resort.</DIV>

<DIV>Definately everfrost, the place near the camp. You can snuggle and watch dreadwake swim around <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV>

I've never been to these other places, but sometimes I sit in Oakmyst forest on top of a rock next to the waterfall and just read a book. The sound of the water and the frogs nearby is lovely. And the Baubbleshire would be fine if it weren't for all the gnomes <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />. If I have to hear "Have you GOT any spare foozlebits? Don't you hate it when you're one foozlebit short of a fwinger?!" one more time, I'm going to wring that gnome's neck.

Well, at the Isle of Refuge, if you remove the named shark (cant remember the name...its been awhile) and raised the platform from the bay...if you face the waterfall that could be kinda romantic..with the right person that is and a picnic basket. Even with the menacing look goblins standing above it...lol.<BR><BR>OR<BR><BR>If you get rid of the gnolls from the giants forge in TS, overlooking the sea. At nite with the shattered remnants of the moon shining down and a cozy cape made of the softest griffin feathers...of course made for two can also be a romantic spot if you're a mere lvl 25 Ranger who has perhaps never been past Nek forest...<img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

bubble path in the temple of life pool, theres sparks and bubbles and crystaline water and white marble structure, lightning swirling above, I scattered rose petals over the water, and the basin is just right. I snuck my shadow knight love into the temple to do as such, it was exciteing, and the water was perfect when we arrived.<p>Message Edited by Dimgroth on <span class=date_text>02-22-2005</span> <span class=time_text>12:51 PM</span>

<DIV>Out in the Thundering Steppes, as you head out into the cratered western plain, if you travel along the walls of the southern hills near Thundermist Village, you will come upon a little plateu overlooking the land. From there you can see the edge of the centaurs forest below and the griffons flying above. At night with that special someone it can be quite a lovely spot.</DIV>

<DIV>The most romantic spot I've come across is definitely the rooms in the Inn. It's not the location or the surroundings or any of that. It's the atmosphere you make in there when the rays of the sun hit you just right.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><A href="http://www.personal.psu.edu/staff/s/w/sws146/images/EQ2_000030.jpg" target=_blank>See what I mean....</A></DIV>

<DIV>Most romantic place? I still can't forget good ol' Twilight Sea from EQ1 as the most romantic. Sit on the shore looking out to the sunset....maybe with somebody special...</DIV>
