<DIV>Its been a bit of a debate in our guild, but we really want to know where the giants game from that are in Nektulos forest. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>My best calculation is the are decendants of the sand giants in the deserts of Ro.   If you look at the ancient maps,  there would appear to be 3 vast rifts involved.  One which tore open and spread the distance between Neriak and Lavastorm,  one which enveloped the West Commonlands and the Karanas in water  and which tore through Kithicor and made it an ocean which seperates the off the Enchanted lands.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The rift which tore across the continent through WC and the Karanas swallowed the deserts into the ocean,  as an escape the giants made there way into the commonlands and continued northing into Nektulos as a refuge away from the other races.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>That would also explain why Nektulos is now over run by so many more of the undead which came from Kithicor. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><IMG src="http://www.gry-online.pl/eq2/Antonica_Overlay2.jpg"> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>/ooc</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I would expect that Sony could do several awesome expansions/adeventure packs out of this information, like for expample, the lost ruins of Kithicor and the lost Oasis of Marr.</DIV></DIV>

<DIV>What you said is as good a explanation as any really....</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Side note.. anyone else miss the desert of Ro as much as I do?</DIV>

<DIV>There were Hill Giants in the Commonlands too.  And of Course Fire Giants in Solusek.  Both were closer (zone connection wise) to Nektulos than the deserts of Ro.</DIV>

<DIV>Also the giants populate the northern area of the zone around the Fire Guard, which was supposedly the barrier between Nektulos and Lavastorm. I guess the solusek giants figured with chunks of moon falling on them that now'd be a good time to relocate out of an easily sealable dungeon.</DIV>

<DIV>There was more than Hill Giants in (west) Commonlands - there was also rarely Nightfall Giant(s). These could be the ancestors of the current giants in Nek Forest.</DIV>
