Ok, this idea is still in need of ironing and such so please those flame. Devs, it'd be nice if you took this idea into consideration Ok, first things first, devs take a census to see how many players are in one or another side of the factional "good vs evil" war per server.ex: lets say on crushbone, Qeynos has more players (just an example)Now, what you do is you put special NPC spawns in North, south, east and west freeport. These NPC's will have a name like "Qeynos invader" and "Freeport defender". No the NPC's wont attack eachother for the sake of preventing lag and not causing major crashes. Now citizens of freeport would go to an NPC and take up a quest that allows them to attack the "Qeynos invader" spawns. There will be specific milestones that, when met, would give a suitable rewardex: kill 10 "Qeynos invaders", get 5skill 20, get 10sand so on and so forth. Now in this case, citizens of Qeynos would be able to take up a quest where they could travel to Freeport and attack the "Freeport defender" spawns. Now these quests will be dropable at any time and you can pick them up where you left off if you dropped them. The spawns given to you will be based on your level, so you'll mostly get stuff that shows blue, white, or green to you. The quest, upon completion, will be non-repeatable. When will completion be? let the devs decide. The faction with the most kills of the opposite side wins. The reward, a special edition perk for that side.I think this would be a pretty good idea because it would make the whole factional thing more meaningful and would be something fun to do. If you temporarily implemented PvP for this event that would be great too .

It's more of a cold war as both sides frantically try to strengthen their powerbase in case of war. It's not a fluke that Lucan D'Lere tells the player when examining the commemorative Freeport coin about getting rid of "decadent Qeynos" and the presumable equivalent for Bayle on the commemorative Qeynos coin.
