<DIV>Ok Lore Folks,</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I'm setting out a challenge.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Can someone please explain to me, how Elephant meat (and Vulrich meat, as I don't know what a Vulrich is) gets into Critter Dens in Antonica?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I am absolutely befuddled, and I'd love to hear some history about this phenomenon.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Many thanks!</DIV>

<DIV>A vulrich is a large bird that hangs around the commonlands... they remind me of a cross of an ostrich and a vulture. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Anyway, it's possable that elephants and vulrich are killed or maybe die of natural causes, and small scavenger animals pick meat off the corpses and store it to eat later in dens. </DIV>

<DIV>I've at last found the explanation. It's the Nac Mac Feegle!  For those non Terry Pratchett readers these are the Wee Folk.  Very small blue pixies, of extraordinary strength and great speed, full of mischief and with huge appetites.  This would also explain why you will often see cows etc moving through the grasslands at speed without moving their legs, usually with an angry expression on their faces.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>:smileyhappy:</DIV>
