<div></div>Wouldn't mind seeing pics of the 61-70 spells in adept III or higher....I remember before DoF came out someone did that and it was very nice to have.....of course I'm not greedy so Adept I's will be just fine.....just really curious to what the new spells are going to be that they add to our spell line.<div></div><p>Message Edited by ctrcivic on <span class="date_text">02-09-2006</span><span class="time_text">08:26 AM</span></p>

<div></div><div></div><p>Here's some shots of the 61-70 spells. Most are adept 3, and my master 2 choice at 64 is shown. I'm only level 69 but the lvl 70 spells which I had made are also shown. <div></div><p>/morn no upgrade to Torpor!!! This is a sad sad day, our greatest spell and not in line for an upgrade.  Which I do not understand if you follow the 14 level rule. I should be upgraded at 66.  I guess you can not have everything but that new spell is SOOOO SWEET!  can we say clear spot for MT group!  24% max hp now here is my question, is that current Max or base max?  if it is current max then that is crazy because I am already hearing about MT with 15k hp buffed, you through that on and you add like 3.5k for 36 secs with 1 spell alone.  If you can let me know if it is current Max HP or normal, because here is the rub.</p><p>If it is current you are going to want to spam all your mystic heals on target before hand because you can add alittle over 1k max hp that way.  then cast Bolser and it will have 250 more hp than normal due to the buffed hp from heals.  Just a thought.  Let me know how it tests out.</p><p> </p><p>Gustave of Nek.</p>

Seems odd that Umbral Mettle (5<img src="/smilies/b2eb59423fbf5fa39342041237025880.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> is being replaced at 70 (Umbral Liturgy) and that there's no upgrade to our group ward at 70, yet every other 56 spell is replaced at 70 along with an upgrade to Oberon.  I would much rather have an upgraded group ward than Oberon, personally, although Oberon can be useful at times.  Could the omission of the group ward be a mistake on their part?<div></div>

02-09-2006, 11:30 PM
<div></div>Starting with a base hp of 5,735, Bolster adds 1,680 making my hp now 7,415. If I'm not mistaken, 24% of 5,735 is around 1,380, so this is closer to a 30% increase to current, maxed and buffed hp.

It's already been pointed out on the Beta forums that they broke the 14 level rule with that spell.  No response yet.<div></div>

<div></div><p>I've already posted on beta forums regarding Umbral Liturgy and I have submitted a bug for it on the beta server as well.</p><p> </p><p>CeoinGuk</p>

Thanks for posting the pics in the forums section.....can't wait till I can use them in a few weeks <crosses fingers> another question...what were your choices for your Master II at lvl 64?<div></div>

02-10-2006, 09:59 AM
<div></div>I am sorry but that Lethargy spell is the biggest piece of crap i have ever seen I have the current one we have at Master I and it is 24% you tell me that something that is 14 levels higher and Master II only adds 3% that is some bull [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn]! They really need to straiten their act on that one.

<div></div><div></div>Currently our single target slow, from Master 1 of old tier to Master 1 of new tier only upgrades 2%.Group slow, 3%DPS Debuff, 2%)*(&amp<img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />(*!#)%(*#)*$Interestingly enough it appears that in almost all cases a master 1 is greater then the adept 1 of the next tier up.Bolster is a totally awesome spell, got to test it out raiding tonight. Pushed my tank up by about 3kHP 36s out of every 2m. Great spell for bosses and emergencies. The other new spell is supposed to cast random beneficial effects on the party, but I never got any farther then that. It appears that it isn't ingame atm; at least i havent been able to find it. I believe it was called Eidolon but I may be mistaken (funny that haha, thats my guild name). As it was said on the beta forums one line of thought with Umbral Liturgy is they meant to upgrade the group ward (which also starts with Umbral and would normally upgrade at 70), but just assigned the wrong spell. I haven't checked with other priests too see if their group specialties didn't upgrade/if their resist/health buff was upgraded instead.Note that some spells are supposedly going to be the last in their lines. Basically if the spell is at the level they want it and pushing it any higher would just unbalance things, rather then nerfing everything they just won't upgrade the spell. I'm not sure if this applies to any of our spells; it seems like it might if the low amount on our debuffs is intentional.I'll try to get you pics of masters when I get back in town on monday if someone else hasn't by then already; I participated in a raid test that had a merchant who sold most master 1's. Of course, some are still missing (intentionally or not, no idea).EDIT, I can't spell.EDIT2, If i had actually looked above I would see that Eidolon is the Chimerik upgrade, not the currently-non-existent second new spell line.<div></div><p>Message Edited by Thatdumbguy on <span class="date_text">02-10-2006</span><span class="time_text">11:26 AM</span></p>

<div></div><p>I am currently on a campaign to get our debuffs looked at.  I personally think that group slow master 2 at level 64 should be along the lines og 35% slow (if not more) hopefully if we get enough people to say something we can get them to look at all the spell increases across the board.  I believe the idea is as you level you should feel more powerful, and not the same as you were 14 levels ago fighting different looking NPC's.</p><p>It would be nice if the Master 1 47 spell (24% slow was the same as the adpet 1 of the new spell.  the Adept 3 should be 30% and the Master 1 should be 35% or 40% or something along those lines.  Hopefully this will get looked at but I doubt it will.</p>

02-10-2006, 08:10 PM
You will never, ever, ever see our slows get to more than 35% - even when we reach the eventual hard cap at L100.  They already made the mistake of giving Shaman slows too much power in EQLive and you can bet the farm they won't make that mistake in EQ2.I could go into the whole explanation of what happened in EQLive with Slow, but most people already know that story. Our slows are fine where they are, I honestly think that they allowed them to grow too fast already.I strongly suggest you focus your energy elsewhere.<div></div>

02-10-2006, 10:12 PM
<div></div><p>I know what happend in EQlive even though I never really got to see it in action much, that was part of the reason why I rolled a shaman in eq2.</p><p>But Bandit. The cap is 50% slow and dps.  If they raised the % more than the 3 that they did across master 1 and 2 then all they do is allow one spell to cover more of that % range.  There idea is to not allow just 1 spell to do all 50%, and I agree but I also think that if the hard cap is 100 and we are 70 now and are due 2 more AoE slows before then, then they can by all means allow for a great increase in % slowed.  Also there is nothing slopping them from raising the cap at a later date alittle as well. </p><p>I know the problems that can come up and the machanics of the game but I still do not see why a 3% increase over 2 tiers and a spell rank is ok when it should be much more.  A 35% AoE slow at master 2 for level 64 is not all that inpossible or game breaking because no matter what the % you are maxed at 50% slow. Anyway there are many ways to handle this, you can take the well because it was over powered in one game we will underpower it here, or you can try to find the balance between the 2.  Personally I think if they took alittle more time and looked at it they can find a way to make you feel like your getting stronger.  And lets face it, we are getting to the point were we should be doing 35% slow on one spell. It is part of what we do best.</p><p>Anyway I have more to say on this but running out of time =)</p><p>Gustave of Nek</p>

Okay managed to get them before I left.In no particular order, here are the masters that were available off the raid merchant:<img src="http://www.eidolon-ab.org/betapics/mystic1.jpg"><img src="http://www.eidolon-ab.org/betapics/mystic2.jpg"><img src="http://www.eidolon-ab.org/betapics/mystic3.jpg"><div></div>

<div></div><p>New Idea bandit man let me know what you think.  I stole this from my friend.</p><p>Instead of having a huge increase in spell Slow % or debuff amount, why not increase its duration of the spell across both rank of spell and level upgrade.  They can start the increased duration amount in T7 and work on it from there.</p><p>Let me know what you think</p><p>Gustave</p>

<div></div><p>Great post That!!</p><p>Anychance of getting a few pics of the AA's at 8 ranks in them? =)</p>

02-11-2006, 12:15 AM
Yea, that would be one way to go with it.  I just don't think that they want one class able to hit debuff caps alone.  They want it to be spread out.Honestly, I'm very surprised that Mystics can debuff as much as they can.  We can Slow, we can debuff melee skills, we can debuff DPS, we can debuff STR & STA, we can debuff resistances.I don't want to see Mystics (or Defilers for that matter) turned into second rate healers because of their debuffs.<div></div>

02-11-2006, 12:34 AM
<div></div>I think thats a decent idea Kyin.I'd also definitely like to see more specific achievements, such as something like one that increases the duration of certain types of spells by a few percent each level, etc.On a side topic, I forgot to post some of my notes about Bolster:-it appears that it only increases the base max health, not health added from other HP buffs. I am assuming that health granted through stamina will be effected, based upon prior experience in other similar abilities in the game. I really don't care to do all the gear switching to test.-Sometimes when I cast, the tank was granted the Max HP but not the current HP. Most of the time, he was granted the max and still stayed at 100 percent. I couldn't figure out the cause of either, or which it is intended to be, as I didn't have a chance to mess with the spell repeatedly to figure out why (I was raiding at the time). My T6 fabled equipped tank with T7 Buffs from himself and our group, with bolster up, had physical stats between 6 and 800... so I'm not sure how useful it will be in a raiding situation once a tier 7 tank is full fabled. The fact that devs have stated that fabled armor will vary between higher stats/lower mit and higher mit/lower stats might mitigate this issue (no pun intended). Also, as a disclaimer my MT is one of the best-equipped tanks in the game (<a target="_blank" href="http://eq2players.station.sony.com/en/pplayer.vm?characterId=123091104">Vanxio</a>) and I haven't had a chance to test it out on anyone else really.<div></div><p>Message Edited by Thatdumbguy on <span class="date_text">02-10-2006</span><span class="time_text">11:36 AM</span></p>

<div>Hmm, why no level 64 spell?  Are other classes not getting a spell at level 64 either?  That lessens our options for master II at level 64.  <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></div>

<div></div><p>eidolon, the upgrade to chimerik, is our lvl 64 spell as posted by mystique above...</p><p>but no one has answered the question of what the master 2 choices are yet...</p><p><img alt="Your Signature" src="http://www.eqsig.com/sig/2560.png"></p>

I'm sorry I don't remember all the choices, I went with Learned Healing.<div></div>

02-13-2006, 09:32 AM
<div></div><p>I guess Im being petty but I just looked at the defiler spells and it seems they got some really good ones...esp great healing and dps spells (1000 dmg)...</p><p>I know I shouldnt be upset but I have a defiler in my guild who is always bragging about how defilers are better than mystics in every way</p><p>How do those in KOS beta feel the mystic/defiler spells are stacking up against eachother? Do we each have some really good ones to offset eachother?</p>

02-13-2006, 05:07 PM
Almost all of our flavor spells through DoF and now KoS revolve around buffs and healing... as far as I'm concerned, give the other priests all the damned DPS in the world. I like being a priest.<div></div>

<div></div>Any talk yet about weather the AoE immunity at the end of the STR AA line is going to be turned into a permanent self buff like Brigs have?  I have heard that that is a a possibility.  GAWD that would be awesome!  If any of you have any pull, with anyone that can get that on, please try.  I have heard that there is only one totally swamped guy sweating away in a closet somewhere at SOE doing all of the  AA lines by himself, so I can imagine how many changes are being made, and remade, and reremade.  But having the AoE immunity as a permanent self buff would be a great class defining addition to Shamen.  And for those that say it would be overpowering, Brigands have had it forever and they still get hit, and they still use resist gear.  But seriously, do you know anything about the validity of that rumor?

<div></div>Just wondering, can Bolster be cast on yourself?

02-20-2006, 09:49 PM
Has there been any news or acknowledgement from the developers regarding the omission of a group ward for shaman at 70?<div></div>

02-21-2006, 05:23 PM
Bolster can be cast upon yourself or anyone in the group. As far as the question about the ward, I'll check the beta forum one last time, but when I logged in last night I didn't have the new spell thingie flash up (although that might not be indicative). I guess we'll find out today when the servers come back up.<div></div>

02-21-2006, 08:58 PM
<div>Oh wow, so does Bolster turn you into a giant?  How cool, we don't have shrink but we can make ourselves or something else larger?  Sounds like fun to me, just wish it lasted longer than 36 seconds.  Too fun <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></div><div> </div><div>Yeah, odd we don't get a higher level group ward...</div>

03-08-2006, 12:19 AM
<div></div>Anyone willing to update these to show the new spells and effects since release?
