I am getting close to dinging 45 and have tried to learn what the spell Shadowy Attendent does and what it is best used for. I know some changes have been made to the spell and was wondering if someone could explain to me the following - What does it do? When is it best used? Is it one I want to upgrade? Any other info on the spell would be great. Thanks.

Its basically a Heal -over-time with a fancy graffic. It used to be a badger...recently they changed the lvl 59 one into a ghost bear. I cast it usally in the middle of a fight somewhere....kinda a few second grace period in case the wards get knocked through while I'm debuffing the encounter. I bought the adept 3 of the lvl 59 spell off the broker for just over 1 p. Thought it was a pretty good deal seeing the rare would cost me about the same. Seemed to be quite an increase in healing points. I'm gonna try and find the post where its laid out for you.

Message Edited by trin kahl on 01-04-2006 09:07 AM

shadowy attandand summons a spirit pet to your side that heals all members of your group that are close enough (the range is fairly small, so always cast it when you are standing right next to the damaged ones ) depending on the spell quality the healing numbers vary, it is our best skill to cope with ae-damage that is not instantly life threatening -> the group can regen some hitpoints while you keep the MT alive. definitely one spell you should consider upgrading after wards and heals imo.
