<DIV>Because everyone complains and whines because they have not found there rythem or play style..</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>farewell all...</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Happy to be a Shaman and will be one till I die..  Just knowing that I am one of the few well played shaman is gratefing enough for me no matter if I can not heal with the same HP replenishment power as other priests...  I would rather have the tools needed to keep a group healthy than click heal click heal click heal....</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>/bow</DIV>

<DIV>Most people here aren't complainers.  They care about the future of the class that they enjoy and want the best for it.  Sometimes that involves detailed analysis of certain functions of the class to find out if there are any shortfalls or bugs.  Then they come here to discuss their findings.  Thanks to this analysis and discussion, it's becomming abundantly clear that Wards need to be looked at.  If you want to bury your head in the sand and go on about your merry way, hey all the power to you.  It's all about having fun in the end and if you're having fun that's all that matters.  But hopefully what goes on here will help make the class better which benefits everyone.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>If there wasn't something wrong then you wouldn't see so many posts from those that you call complainers.  Take a look at the Warden forums sometime ... you'll see a very different tone there.  There's a reason for it.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<DIV>While I am in no way a fan of all the whining and complaining that spews forth from a lot of posters on here, there really is no point whatsoever in posting something like this unless for some strange personal satisfaction that you might possibly get from reading all the flame replies that you obviously and intentionally set yourself up for. My only wish is that I have provided you an eloquent/well written response to your inane and mindless drivel of a post.</DIV>

<DIV>I'll simply echo the sentiments of the folks who have responded before me.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>If you are happy with your Shaman, wonderful!  Enjoy your time playing!</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>If your Shaman serves your needs as is, we are truly happy for you.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The fact that the tone here seems a little negative is simply the result of an undercurrent of dissatisfaction that I and my "colleagues" here have tried to identify, quantify and explain in an attempt to improve <STRONG>our</STRONG> gameplay experience.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>You'll note that very few of us are ready to throw in the towel on our characters.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>You'll also find that, for the most part, when someone asks a legitimate question or seeks advice, the folks here are quite happy to assist.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The fact that you choose to focus on the negative overtones and ignore both the helpful posts and the raw analysis is your own problem which you must address.</DIV>

<DIV>We are all very happy that you are satisfied with the shaman class, really we are. But if one more person posts some gasoline soaked remark about being able to play their class better than everyone else I'm going to scream. For real man.....what was the point?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

People are complaining how they can't heal as well as "the next class". </P> <P>So unless you want to make an argument that the healer classes in general need a boost, I am sorry, I don’t see where we are broke.<BR></P>

<DIV>I know exactly what you mean Casie.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>If I'm going to exp for the night, I ALWAYS put the group together.  Sometimes, I'm the only healer, sometimes there are 2 of us, but all times, everyone says what a awsome group it was and what fun they had.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>It's all a matter of playing to fit the situatiion and the group.  I never have problems of feeling inadiquate or that my shammy isnt "polished" enough to be useful.  I play, have fun, put rocking groups together and everyone is happy.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I can't even log in anymore without getting 10 tells in the first 2 minutes saying "you gonna exp tonight?"</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>But since I also craft and harvest alot with my limited playing time, people are 5+ levels past me a week after I meet them, so I usually find new people when I want to exp (usually 1 night a week).  After one group, I have 6 new friends again <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Shaman's rock just the way they are.  Learn to love the abilities you have instead of envying the ones you dont have and your play will be much more enjoyable</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

If not, you probably only made 5 friends :p</P> <P> </P> <P>hehe, j/k<BR></P>

<DIV>Seriously I have a problem with people taking one issue and claiming the class is fataly flawed and unplayable.  Over the last few weeks I've seen some change in this, Bandit has been more careful in his conclusions and I think that strengthens his points, our class has weaknesses that could be fixed to even the playing field.  Compared to the old Druids Grove this board has been positivly tame.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<DIV>Im sorry but anybody who thinks shamans are the only healing class who can actualy do something beside heal really needs to looks around a bit more ;p All 3 classes have a range of debuffs, nukes, dots, utility spells etc we are not "special" because of these factors. Stating that just because we have these other spells as a justification of why we cant heal as well is just flawed and uninformed logic.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I love my shaman, the class is great. That doesnt mean we are perfect, it doesnt mean there are no flaws, its doesnt mean there are no bugs, it doesnt mean we cant discuss these things and have a debate on how best to balance our class. And no that doesnt make us whiners and complainers .... it makes us rational people who care about the class we have chosen.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>M</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<DIV>I havent played in a while...been on vacation. I would be happy if SOE makes so a mobs hit that drops my ward didn't hit my tank as if he had 0 AC. There are other things too, but that is the biggest thing for me honestly.</DIV>
