I'm trying to find out the FT cap. Also, are effects such as Flow of Fyr'Un (+14), Battlement of the Mind (+7) and Awakened Intellect (+5) counted as FT or are they in their own category? Also, racial and class traits that are selected as you level - do those count in there as well?

Well, i guess I might have answered my own question. This is from an old post on the (shudder) Templar forums. Can anyone confirm if this is still true?

Flowing Thought, Battlement of the Mind, Character In-Combat Power Regen Traits, Prismatic Glow and Flow of the Fyr'Urn are all types of in-combat mana regeneration.

The cap for in-combat mana regeneration is 1.5x your level. At 60 the in-combat regen cap is 90, 70 the cap is 105 and so forth.

Can these caps be reached?

By normal players? Almost impossible.
By raid geared players? Difficult, but possible.

Dirge, Troubador, Illusionist and Coercer in-combat group mana regeneration spells (as well as the Druid Spirit of the Bat +9.4? in-combat regen for the target at Adept3) all factor towards the in-combat mana regeneration cap in addition to your gear and traits.

Troubador and Dirge in-combat power regen does not stack together
Illusionist and Coercer in-combat power regen does not stack together
They do however stack with the opposite class, Troubador and Illusionist regens will stack for example.

Hope this helps.

Edit: Power regeneration potions in-combat do not count towards the cap to the best of my knowledge, as you can only have one potion active at a time with any other power regen potion sharing the same reuse timer.

Also, for increased power regeneration in-combat, Conjurers and Necromancers can provide you with a temporary item (disappears about 10 minutes after being logged out) that you can drop into your hotbar from your inventory and click it to increase your power at the cost of health (such as the manastone) but with limited charges, three to be exact. For example, a Necromancers item is usually along the lines of "Dark Heart" and the Conjurer's is along the lines of "Sliver of Essence"

Both Summoner power regen items are on seperate times and can be used one after the other. Conjurer items provide a large ammount of upfront power, whereas Necromancer items provide the same total power, just over time.

Edit #2:

Stacking:
Flowing Thought does stack with the same FT number, up to the Mana Regen cap.
Battlement of the Mind does not stack whatsoever with itself.
Prismatic Glow and Flow of the Fyr'Urn do not stack with each other (brawlers and scouts could dual wield the Prismatic and Godking Weapon)
Potions do stack with each other, as long as they are not on the same timer and do not count towards the mana regen cap.

Another note:

In reply to only half of your mana regen cap can come from gear:

This is completely true. If you were 70 with a regen cap of 105, you can only gain up to 52.5 power regen from gear and 52.5 from spell effects
