Does it still suck endgame? Or should I suck it up now and decide whether I like cloth, or str & agi?

It does get much better in T6 and even better in T7. The best thing about the New Expansion is the gigantic amount of different items available with all different sets of stats. Crafted stuff really got the shaft though. Armor did get the nice addition of resists.

Crafted jewelery still sucks specially since moonstones are used in about 70% of the rare jewelery and only 20% uses acrylia.

I play a Fury (level 55 atm) and I am having trouble finding decent leather armor that is appropriate for a druid in the 50s. I have a nice lvl 62 chest piece, but I can't equip that for 7 more levels. The chest piece I currently sport is a level 37 Fabled and it was great for the 30s and 40s but I can't find a replacement that has wisdon on it. All leather gear in the 50s seems to be oriented to melee types.

Finding a chestpiece (leather) with wis is difficult to do. I went with the +20 wis cambric chestpiece, but it was cloth. I used my T5 chestpiece when soloing and it seemed to work out just fine.

I had something with +6 WIS or so plus AGI and a few other things. Can't remember its name but it was nothing special. The scaleguard BP from SoS is pretty decent at 20 WIS and is useable at 62 I think. You could also try to get a raid on Lockjaw. That BP is lvl 57 I think.I want the Elysian Tunic from EQLive. It had really nice stats for a soloable mob and the graphic was awsome. Looked like an off white chain with some kind of graphic on the chest instead of the normal dull brown or green we were stuck with in EQLive and EQ2.

Message Edited by DragonRoll on 03-30-200609:23 AM

Leather armor has always seemed to be geared more towards monk/bruiser than druid, until mid 60 I used a lot of cloth armor for the WIS stats, the legendary player made cloth is +20 in T6 versus no WIS at all on the leather chest in that tier, at T6 some opens up, the Lockjaw Hide Vest is druid only has flowing though and some very decent stats, but most good T6 leather is raid drop only (the wildwood armor is great, but only drops in Gates :smileysad:) In T7 the leather armor really opens up. The Scaleborne as mentioned, the BP made in the Nest, and a very nice one in Halls of Fate and some very nice druid only raid drop pieces.I don't think I will ever have my WIS maxed, but even with my WIS at 515, my INT is sitting at 489 and my other stats, with the exception if STR, are all 200+, and I still have more power than the majority of plate and chain healers I see.

In one word: Yes.I allways take the hit and go for stats over mitigation so I have cloth and leather in a mixed bag. The reasoning being I haven't soloed since i was lvl 20(ish) (many many levels ago) and prehpas more importantly I can wear a nice dress (cloth) and it doesn't matter what the other pieces of amrour look like as I will allways match .

I'm new to eq2, i just started when the pvp servers came up and i'm level 65. I don't have much trouble finding good items with wisdom nor int. I'm sitting at 400+ int and 350 wisdom in int gear and like 400ish wisdom in wisdom gear and I haven't even tried getting good [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] Then again, I don't know if that's good heh.
