<div>Probably been asked alot but what is a good craft for Warden?</div><div> </div><div>I was thinking of being a tailor but someone in my guild said it's not really a good craft in general but said the weaponsmiths were an overlooked profession and needed.</div><div> </div><div>What do you guys think?</div>

As of tier 7, the outfitters aren't nearly as competitive with dropped stuff as they once were.  I'm still running around with tier 6 goods, not necessarily because I am cheap, but because tier 6 fabled is straight out better than any crafted tier 7 and the tier 6 legendary is pretty comparible with tier 7 treasured (crafted dropped a grade).  Tier 6 crafted will be nerfed down before too much longer, so you really can't rely on that one.  Obviously, armouring will not do anything for you as a leather/cloth wearer and priests don't make extensive use of crafted weapons. In any case, you are probably going to spend a lot more on adept 3's than gear.  Even better than that, the commisions for spell crafting are higher than for tailoring (at least on my server) when you wish to enter the spell crafting market.  So, I would recommend a Sage at this time unless some changes are incoming for the outfitters, but I've stopped caring over a month ago.<div></div>

<div></div><p>Well I'm not really big on crafting, I'm probably not even going to touch it past the first 9 lvls until I get warden to 40 or so simply because I prefer adventuring. I believe to make good use of sage I would have to keep it the same level as my adventure class since you have to be the same level as the spell you are going to make, right?</p><p>Anyway, I want something that can benefit more than just me and something I can do a little more casually since I'm mainly an adventurer.</p>

All the crafting classes require you to keep up with your adventuring level if you are gonna make use of it.  The only exceptions are carpenter (because you don't use what they make) and provisioner (since it is a consumable).  However, the utility of a carpenter is pretty low and provisioning is overrun with bots and macroers.  If you are looking for global utility, it would probably still be a spell crafter.<div></div>

<div>Depends, too, on the reason you want to craft..?  For roleplay, I like being a Provisioner/Warden ...as a defensive healer, food just falls right in with that whole mindset.    If you are doing it for best utility for yourself, Sage or Tailor would really come in handy.  </div><div> </div><div>Any craft can make money - if you want to put the work into it.    I chose Alchemist for my second craft...and that remains my favorite...even though I have limited personal use for the items that character makes (potions and the occasional extract...)</div>

<div></div>As a tailor it was always easy enough to get business.  It's not that straightforward but even in T7 you can eke out a living.  I have a weaponsmith that I ran out of favor with but am leveling an alchemist for the potions.  The poisons are handy also to motivate your scout friends to harvest for you now that crafting (in T7 at least) requires insane amounts of raws. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />
