View Full Version : Changes to Sandstorm?

<div>I can't say for sure, but I played a few hours yesterday and used Sandstorm quite a bit, but I never ever saw knockdown kick in. Neither did I see the symbol come up in my maintained spells bar. Has something been changed? I didnt do any tests or even read the spell description again, but we fought a lot of yellow con mobs last night and I usually see mobs get knocked down atleast once in a while. The defence part seemd to work though. Again no testing, but thats what it felt like.</div><div> </div><div>I did have all my specs turned all the way down to avoid the lag. Could this mean I wouldnt have seen the knockdown animation?</div>

<div>It got ninja changed to 1 second instead of 4 seconds. I just noticed this 5 mins ago and logged on here to check if anyone else did. A standard knockdown is 1 second so prolly doesn't have a spell icon anymore</div><div> </div><div>Checked with a CONJ and their Blue AE spell , seismic tremor, has a similar knockdown effect, and got ninja'd to 1 second, and no longer provides a spell icon.</div><div> </div><div>Weird. Isnt it time they took away the rooted effect? What will it be next time? All it does is roots you and nothing else?</div>

<div></div><p>idc about the root effect. how about the constant powerdrain for a every underpowered skill.</p><p>as far as the icons not showing up they will. but not in ur maintained window anymore. target the mob and look at the window under them.</p>

<div></div><font color="#ff0099">only really use ss in duels against melee, those 4 seconds of knockback were plenty of time to get a heal off... havent tried since this nerf, doesnt sound good though? why nerf it now?</font>

<div></div>so they took a crapy spell mad it even more crapy why even play a warden if thier just going make them really useless? lvl 65 warden did not see that change even tho i really never cast it much mybe thats why >:/

<div></div>This post is redundant now; there was a patch message saying that it was a display bug that has been fixed and that the stuns affected by it didn't ever actually have a lesser duration.
