<DIV>I hope its not tunares watch, that looks like a waste but the only other one i see listed is thorncoat which isnt very worthy either for an "ancient" spell.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I dont understand it, isnt Tunares watch an upgrade of Natures Reprieve (41)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Isnt it the same as Natures Respite (55)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Can someone explain the differences and why it looks like we get the same spell twice in T6?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I was really looking forward to something fun and unique at 52 like my mage classes got.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<DIV>Nature's Reprieve is single target, as is Nature's Respite.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Tunare's Watch covers the entire group, and lasts 36s.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>But yeah, that's about it.</DIV>

They're on different timers, too, so technically it's a different line of spells. Of course, different line or not, it's still phenomenally useless. <div></div>

<P>No spell is useless if you know how and when to use it.</P> <P> </P> <P>Nature's respite..and Tunares watch and others like it can be very useful indeed.</P> <P>Take for instance the carpet quest; at one point you fight a guy who pretty much kills the one who hails him with his nasty ice comet spell. But..if you put one of these little spells on the person just before they hail him, guess what? They won't die! The tank gets time to taunt and gain agro after ice comet has gone off. </P> <P>Are there other opportunities where this spell might be handy... oh I'm positive there are, and I'm equally positive you can come up with a few yourself, should you put your mind to it.</P> <P> </P> <P>Elden</P>

<DIV>Problem is it only heals for 600 something at master 1. One small hit from an add or anything else and a tank is dead anyway. I've had it work maybe 3 or 4 times ever where it fired, and the target lived afterwards. I've had it work 100 times where it fired and the target dies anyway immediately after.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The spell continues to be garbage. Especially when our counterparts get back into the fray.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Edit - FYI - Any priest can cast a divine intervention type spell for carpet 4, since only 1 target needs it.</DIV><p>Message Edited by Radiohead316 on <span class=date_text>12-28-2005</span> <span class=time_text>07:05 AM</span>

And there are times when the spell is useful... and it has saved my tank before, however, even at 60, I have only ever used the spell effectively once. Its a situational spell. Or better put, a situational heal. The difficulty of the spell is that it requires the target, or group, to actually DIE for it to go off. So you would say, "Great, when the tank is really low on health I'll pop this thing off and save the group." Only... it doesn't really work like that, because normally, when the tank is really low on health, you are too busy healing to really bother with the spell. Ok, so you realize that its going to be a hard fight, you set yourself up to pop the spell when it looks like things could go sour, and its not needed. Ok thats fine... but now you have to wait 5 or 10 minutes for it to refresh in order to "save" your tank again. The inherrant problem with this line is that its a "rescue" type spell. Super fast casting, able to cast while stunned ect... only you have to cast this spell before your target needs rescuing. And it has a very short durration... (Or at least it did the last time I actually used it, 15 seconds I believe, though they may have changed it) Personally, I would like to see this line be just as it is, only... not have the requirement of DEATH to set it off.... But thats just the ramblings of a Halfling Warden for ya. Dallun Antonia Bayle <div></div>

<DIV>I wish they would change this to a BIG group instant heal.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>We have a group and solo instant heals and i really find them useful.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I've yet to cast one of these rescue spells, im always too busy healing that i forget i have it, not like it would really change the fight outcome most of the time.</DIV>

<DIV>In my opineon Tunare's Watch is really useless, why should someone use an instant rescue spell which heals for about 500-600 hp instead of using a heal spell (e.g. Sylvian Streams) with 1sec cast. The Fury's Back into the Fray is a single heal which really prevents the tank to die, my Tunares Watch never preventet the Tank, or even someone else in my Group, from death. So I would say Tunares Watch needs to be changed to a spell that really can prevent the tank's death by healing, buffing or sth else. And I even don't like to get a rescue spell as an Ancient Teaching because for example the Back into the Fray is an really powerful heal, an even not a "rescue spell" with 5min recast time.</DIV>

For an ancient spell its about the crappiest out there for sure. The only effective use for it I've found is casting it on pull during a raid. It can keep the mt up the fraction of the second you need for other heals and debuffs to start to land if the mt gets 1shotted. The 5min recast means I almost always have at least 1 save up when other priests in mt group dont. Still the 600hp initial heal is so small the mt will usually die if hit right away. Id like to see it bumped to 1500-2000 to be effective.

<DIV>I'd like to see it be % based on max health. If the target dies then it heals 35% of max health at master 1. Maybe 30% at adept 3 and so on. That way if a level 52 wizard dies then yeah, maybe it only heals 650, but if your tank dies in a raid then it'll heal 3500hps. I really don't see that as being ridiculous when reactives achieve essentially the same effect and the target doesn't have to die.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>But whatever, not like anyone reads this. :p</DIV>

I have to agree with the majority. I have tried to use this spell many times. When I think the tank is gonna go down, I'll cast it. But then the tank never dies and I just wasted it. It might have worked for me once if that. It is soo annoying. Give us something more usefull SOE! This spell sux, especially for being one of our "special" spells.
<P>I have used it and had it work, but only to have them die a second later. If it could fire repeatedly on any one target throughout the duration of the spell, it would be useful, sort of a death prevention.</P>

<DIV>or, at the very least, it could prevent death from falling! but to the it's useful for CQ3, not only do we already have a single target one of this, but we also have a minor ward against elemental that also buffs the elemental resist up, far more useful than our "ancient" spell. Anyway, with our lots of wisdom, you have loads of resists to cold and heat, with the ward on i have about 72% odd, to those my level.</DIV>

<DIV>It has a cool graphic. Like a bunch of fireballs circling everyone in your group. The amount it heals on save is the major drawback on this spell. Like someone posted earlier it needs to heal 1.5-2k to make it effective. Anyone else notice the insane aggro on it? During raids I tend to throw it up when one of the other healers get aggro and it is a surefire way to transfer said aggro to me :smileyvery-happy:. Lucky I have my deaggro spell readily accessible!</DIV>
