I asked this question in the Combat forum too...What effect do our Ministration and Ordination skills have on game play?

<div>hi hargen :   ) Jina here</div><div> </div><div>I think his question is what the Ministration and Ordination actually effect you play the game.</div><div> </div><div>( I might be wrong if I am wrong please let me know don't be shy :smileyvery-happy: )</div><div> </div><div>Ministration</div><div> </div><div>it's  how well you use spells that heal and cure ( honestly that's useless information /blame sony ) to increase your ministration, first it will make you less fizzle. let's say you are level 60. your ministration should be 300. what happened if your ministration is 305? if you cast a level 54 healing spell ( single reactive ) it means you are level 61 cast a level 54 spell. you will get less fizzle. second, it will increase your healing per second ( HPS ) meaning exactly, let's say you are level 70, your inq ministration is 350 ( naked ). I am full fable, awesome gear. :smileytongue: my ministration is 400. we both got master I single reactive ( 433 - 530 ). the different is my heal is always like 500-530. yours is always like 430-500. the point is the better ministration will help your heal stay closer to maxium heal. hope you understand what I said.</div><div> </div><div>Ordination</div><div> </div><div>this is for debuffs for us. higher ordination will make your spell has better chance to land on the mob. less fizzle for sure.</div><div> </div><div>hope this helps.</div>

Ministration, ordination and subjugation don't change your healing/debuffing numbers per spell. You don't heal more or less with more or less skill, at the moment those skills just relate to fizzling and resisted spells. and a +5 bonus doesn't any longer mean you are considered to be a level higher. It improves, yes, but not quite as much as a higher level would indicate, especially relevant when facing red or orange mobs.<div></div>

It improves, yes, but not quite as much as a higher level would indicate, especially relevant when facing red or orange mobs.<div></div><hr></blockquote>yes. it doesn't change your healing numbers.. but it will help you inprove your hps. like I said if your reative aveage number is (433+530)/2 = 481.5 at 350 minitration if you 400 your aveage heal will be like 490 or 500 something higher.. that's what I mean. and + 5 bonus you will get less fizzle. that's for 100% sure there is nothing to aggue with this. it won't help you con de mob. it helps on con your fizzle rate AS 1 more level higher :  )

It used to be just the way you describe here, and got changed months ago. A plus 5 bonus to any skill can no longer be considered as simply "1 more level".And higher skill indeed helps with resist on higher /con'ed mobs, it's just that the effect of increased skillmargin was lowered.</font><hr></blockquote></span></div>

I spoke with Lockeye about the fact that ministration does nothing (fizzles but ya whatever), it was brought up a few times at Fan Faire and said he will be looking into making it provide some real benefit.<div></div>
