<DIV>This is my first post after lurking here since the begining. So , "Hello" !    As with any new thing, these changes will take some adjusting too. So, I thought that instead of complaining about it, we should help eachother think of new, creative ways to keep ourselves and our beloved friends alive!  Let us know your new strategy. I know I could use help figuring out how to get the best use out of my abilites, and  I'm sure others would , too.    Ah well,  my son just woke up so i will post mine later. But until then...Post Away!!!!!</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Nubbins~41 Templar</DIV> <DIV>               35  Provisioner</DIV> <DIV>Oblivious of Unrest</DIV>

I find that our reactives are the best use for my style of play.  I toss a reactive or 2 on the MT, then proceed to debuff.  By the time the reactives wear off, I have to throw a heal or 2 on the MT.  Then I can proceed to a nuke or Warring Faith on the mob.  I haven't been able to play since the revamp.  I was right in the middle of Respec when server went down for a patch.  I am hoping I can continue with this style, as it suits me best from a start point.  Then after a few mobs, I generally alter it depending on the MT healing needed vs. group DPS vs. power regen.<p>Message Edited by Destraum on <span class=date_text>09-15-2005</span> <span class=time_text>10:34 AM</span>

The only '2' reactives you can put on the MT are sgl target + grp Sgl target reactives don't stack any longer. I'm finding myself blowing thru mana using sgl target direct heals to try and keep up while I'm waiting for reactive timers.  The reactives no longer keep up.  Just an observation. <div></div>

Was in a group with lvl 50 Berserker, lvl 50 Guardian, lvl 50 Paladin, lvl 50 Ranger and lvl 50 Wizard yesterday. We explored and pulled at random different mobs for 4 hours. Like before revamp I usually casted both reactives before pulls, replenishing them at need. Like before the revamp I casted Atoning Fate on mobs the MA was fighting when we killed groups of 3 ore more. When pulling groups of 2 or a single mob I casted Mark of King and Involuntary Curate (which I seldom did prior to revamp) - I had the impression that it helped a lot, but didn't do any parsing and might be wrong on this. I casted direct heals (I have chosen the Master II version of Amelioration) when needed - the longer we played and the better we worked together I found myself casting them less and less, though. What I did noticed, that I was seldom low on power - even without drinking. If we had to wait for power, it was for the MT, not for me. During those 4 hours we wiped once and I died an extra-time - both times were plain stupidity. I would be curious, if others are using the Mark of King and Involuntary Curate, too? <div></div>

<DIV>I used to rely heavily on the "heals you  when hit" line of spells, and I would watch health like a hawk.  I am now changing my healing to be more in line with "heal when their hitpoints get to half". I end with more mana, and that is always a good thing. I am not getting interrupts like others are saying they are, and I think it is because I am not casting until needed, and it allows the tanks to get the agro set before my healing starts. Of course, my being only 37 may have something to do with that =P</DIV>

I have been using marks and involuntary curate as situational spells.  If our group (normally hang out with 50 guardian & 50 dirge) pulls a single ^^^ heroic, then I will usually throw these in after putting in reactives heals and debuff.  Since these fights are drawn out longer than most others, I feel that any help is good help.  Other than that, almost all other mobs go down too fast to even bother (the 3-way HO's take the mobs health down by almost 800 hp, and we spam them constantly).  Other than that, I have had to adjust my healing by using direct heals, which I rarely, if ever used.  I never needed them, even when fighting 50^^ named heroics.  But now that the MT takes more of a beating, even with defensive stance, I have to throw those in.  However, this tends to work out well anyways, since the HO will come up with the "heal" symbol each time we work one (well 85% at least) so you can get a nice rhythm going.  Rarely do I ever run out of power and I only get close on multiple encounters of 5-6.  Remember, Atoning Fate is your friend, you need to place this on as many mobs as you can.  The healing that comes from a mob dieing is a big part of power management as well as keeping MT and others in the green. <DIV>Before revamp I was already using Involuntary Curate & Mark of Kings when my group pull & pull & pull :smileywink:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Now I use the 2 RH (Group + Solo) before the pull, and impair/debuff the mob with all I can !! After this I let my groupmates doing their jobs, just healing or recasting RH time at time & the spell that heal the group when mob dies (sorry I forget the english name coze I'm a french player). :smileyvery-happy:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Power Consomation ?? NADA !! this is very fun ! </DIV>

My gf is a 27 templar, since the revamp she is having a hard time feeling like she is an efficiant healer like she was before.  Is there any tips or strategies I can give her to help her feel more comfortable as being the main healer in a full group.  <div></div>

<P>I spend most of my time in a duo with my Zerker husband.  We went to Feerot to see what we could do. I found that if i am  patient and pay attention we can do pretty well against group mobs. I begin by using my RH's before pull...then i wait until he has aggro and cast MoP and Involuntary Healer. By that time he needs vitae. I then procede to thro out Amending Fate ( or whatever it is called at my lvl ) as needed. I use my regular heals in between. I stunn the caster or healer and this helps a lot. Once we have them drained of power (which takes a while) I use my DoT 's and we are done quickly after that.  I usually am left with plenty of power. The only thing is...... God forbid we get any adds! Then we are totally done for. :smileyvery-happy:   We just have to be wise with the vitae..and I really do like the stun and mezz.</P> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Nubbins (50) Templar</DIV> <DIV>              (35) Provisioner</DIV> <DIV>Oblivious of Unrest</DIV>
