60+ Masters

I'm currently on the hunt for lvl 60+ M1's and wanted to know what zones people have had them drop and off which mobs?Thanks   <span>:smileyhappy:</span><div></div>

Any 60+ mob (inc non heroics) has a chance to drop any master with nameds giving a better chance to drop.There is no hidden system.

I don't want to formulate a system that would never work. I just want to know what zones and off what mobs for the lucky Necro's that have found M1's.<div></div>

Hi, I have found a number of Master1 level 60+ and as the previous post has said they seem to drop from any mob, but the following is what I have found, through my own limited looting. 1, Normally a mob will drop spells/trade books equal to the level they are 60 drops level 60 books, 61 level 61 books etc. 2, Named mobs have a chance of dropping a spell/trade book for the whole tier they belong to. 3, Master chest chance (lowest thru highest), Normal mobs, Heroic, named. I personally have had tier7 masters from level 66 basilsk's, level 54^^ stone guardians, level 64/5^^^ stone guardians, level 65/66 stone titans, level 66 Named, level 67^ ravasects (all solo with my Warlock). Basically its like the lottery, you kill enough mobs and you hit the jackpot, it just takes time, the only way to improve the stats is to hunt named mobs, but most of those are Farmed by groups. Named mobs do have a slightly increased chance at ,masters... If you really want to spend the time doing them, just make a cycle of the zones that are instanced or no one goes to that often... The underwater city in the expansion zone has several named that spawn frquently... The Nest 1st floor is easily soloable and that named drops masters on occation... etc...If you cycle through 4 or 5 named mobs per day, you have a good chance at getting at least 1 master per week.
