<DIV>Ok, so I have some questions on this.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>It seems I have to macro in /pet ranged every time I summon a new pet , thats cool w/e.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Sony reduced 2 of our pets spells to 7.5 m range. This added with the Troubador AA' (resonance or something idk) increases range of all spells by 5 m . So our pet has 35 m spells and 12.5 m spells? Its hard to depend on this /pet ranged stuff dont you think lol. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>IE) Combat</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>/Pet_attack</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Pet starts casting fine( I get all excited, but am still sceptical) so after around 15 seconds my pet charges in to melee range **seemed like it considering on a raid mob you can melee from what seems like a mile away because the mob is so big** and continues casting all of his spells.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Im not complaining that SoE nufed 2 spells to a shorter range. But it still charges in to the same range.... SoE just took out the pet meleeing for 2 seconds and casting a new spell..............or start chain casting all of his spells at point blank range.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Is this what the coders intended?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>need feedback asap</DIV>

Interestingly, even our pet's AE's can be cast from 30m away, while our own demand that we get to 25m from the initial target. Now, the 7.5m thing applies to non-direct targets of AE spells. So, let's we target a mob in a multi-mob encounter and /pet kill. Our pet will move to 30m from the target we gave him and begin casting. He will NOT move to 7.5m away. So, let's say that at 30m from the target we designated, our pet starts to cast an AE. When that AE lands, all targets within 7.5m of the direct target will receive damage. That's what the 7.5m thing is. It has nothing to do with the pet distance from target. My pet happily sat 5m behind me last night and AE'ed his little heart out.</font> </div> <div> </div> <div>IE) Combat</div> <div> </div> <div>/Pet_attack</div> <div> </div> <div>Pet starts casting fine( I get all excited, but am still sceptical) so after around 15 seconds my pet charges in to melee range **seemed like it considering on a raid mob you can melee from what seems like a mile away because the mob is so big** and continues casting all of his spells.</div> <div> </div> <div>Im not complaining that SoE nufed 2 spells to a shorter range. My mage pet never died. My mage pet never tried to get closer to the mobs than I was. I did see a couple odd instances where a mob would move and break line of sight to the pet and the pet refused to re-establish line of sight on his own. I had to back the pet off, move myself to a point where LoS worked and /pet kill again.</font></div> <div> </div> <div>Is this what the coders intended?</div> <div> </div> <div>need feedback asap</div><hr></blockquote><div></div>

<P>Ok, thats why i posted to get clearification. Pet was running in. Dont know why. The mob wasnt moving. It just casted for about 20 seconds and ran in . </P> <P>kinda like a juke move on his part. </P> <P>Chain cast</P> <P>watch pet</P> <P>Chain cast</P> <P>watch pet</P> <P>chain cast</P> <P>not watch pet , pet runs in ([Removed for Content], omgz)</P> <P>back pet off([Removed for Content] is going on)</P> <P>send pet in</P> <P>chain cast</P> <P> </P> <P>So, i know he will run in if line of sight is broken , idk , we were fighting on a slightly %1 grade slant fighting an avatar but it shouldnt have broken line of sight. Looking for more feed back on what people are seeing.</P>

I have been keeping an eye on my pet during the last raid since the patch and no problem at all. Pet stood there with me and nuked his flaming little heart out. And dps was the same too. Maybe there is an occasional bug or such
