<DIV>Hey all,</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I've seen varying arguments as to what affects resists but little that seemed definitive so far. I'd really like to know what it is possible to do to reduce the chances of being resisted when casting a combat spell - does raising Int help? raising focus? raising other stats? better spell upgrades?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Is there anything we can do as players to affect this? Or is it just down to mob's level Vs our own?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>X</DIV>

Level difference, rank of your spell, and monster innate resists all affect your spell resists.

<P>So basically, the only thing we can actually affect is the spell rank? Seems a shame not to be able to affect it through character build and equipment.</P> <P>Ah well, I never expected the skill system to be as strong as in some other games I s'pose. :mantongue:</P> <P>X</P>

Well, debuffing mob resists also has an effect of decreasing resist rates too.
