Coercers are the best aren't they?

That sounds like you just saw some Coercer solo several heroic encounters ... oh sorry that was this hateful Dev who nerfed us to hell because he watched a Coercer do something ... heh ... anyway ... I have a high Coercer and a few other high classes. Right now I'm bored and frustrated by the shi...eer amount of nerfs so I changed to another class. But I don't really see why a Coercer would be the best of all classes.There are better classes to buff groups, there are classes that do FAR more damage and there are classes that are much more efficient both solo and grouped. There are even classes that are better in any of these aspects. Undoubtly the Coercer is a very fun and versatile class. But since the massive root nerf I don't think it's anywhere near being the best class. Well maybe if you consider fooling around with charm, mezz and root to be fun, it might make Coercers the best fun class. Yet I've played more powerful classes. Power regen buffs, Velocity, Hate enhancement for the tank, reasonable DPS...Coercer's seem pretty flexible in their ability to enhance a group.I run an Inquisitor, my two frequent companions run a Guardian and a Coercer. As a trio, we can take down anything short of epic mobs efficiently and easily. Add a little DPS and we can single group a lot of x2's and some x4's.
